My gf believes that although what happened to Tara was horrible, it was ok in the end because Tara died still being the perfect character that she always was. She never turned evil, or hurt other people.



She will always be perfect in our eyes because she was never anything else but the sweetest most beautiful & caring character this show has ever seen. And Amber played her beautifully!

Willow will always be perfect to me as well, including her quirks, horrible fashion sense and crappy dancing skills, and that's fortunate as she and Tara are made for each other.



I am very happy Amber will not be back on BtVS, I am so very grateful to her for denying them the chance to make things worse for us than they already are, but though I understand what you are saying, nothing will ever made what they did to WT and Tara remotely ok for me, not even the fact that they cannot commit another character assassination now.

yes, after seeing what they gave Azure Skye to work with i'm now eternally incredibly flamboyantly grateful to Amber for turning ME down. I felt it was the right thing to do before, and was glad Amber made what must have been a difficult decision, despite the obvious crappiness of what they were asking her to do. After suffering through my one and only ever viewing of it last night, there's no guestion that she was right to pass on it, and we are all better off as a result. So yay Amber, you rock, we love you, see you in the movies.

And again, this is no reflection on Aly, who handled it beautifully and broke me heart as only she can. Too bad that I don't think I could ever watch it again, we love you too Aly.

I just wanted to let you all know that James is a friend of mine and all of the money he collects from the sale of his pictures will be going to my project (just in case anyone has any doubts).



Also, he will not be selling the same pic to more than one person. Once, a pic is sold, it is gone. That guarantees you will be the only other person with that pic (as he is the photographer, obviously he still retains the rights to the pic). He will not sell anymore.



Also, I wanted to add that I have set the deadline for donating and making it onto the certificate at January 8th (for obvious reasons, plus the fact that I will present it to Amber at Metro on the 25th).

Amber... I will second, third, fourth, etc. the deep appreciateion so many here have already expressed. As much as I miss you deeply on BtVS and as Tara, thank you so much for listenng to what we needed... it definitely wasn't another trip down the "make Willow feel ultimately bad" lane...



You are a wonderful actress and I have enjoyed watching you perform. I hope to se you in many such strong roles in the future... I have no doubt that you will carry them with the remarkable passion and precision you had shown in your outstanding role on BtVS as Tara. I can't even think of the last time I missed a character so much... and that is because you became Tara and molded her into yourself. I'm not even sure I missed Mulder this much. And in my world, that's saying something.

Hi gang, I just wanted to let you all know that I talked to Amber last night about my project. I wanted to give her the opportunity to voice her opinion about it, and the option of having me pull the plug if she didn't like the idea.



She whole-heartedly approved of the project.



So, we now have the Amber seal of approval.



On a different note, some of those who have already donated have voiced a desire for "Amber's Birthday Brigade" t-shirts. Since, I want to give you lovely, generous people everything and anything that you want, I've been checking into it.



I'm negotiating right now with a place that does sublimation. They do good work and if all goes well, by the end of the week, I should have detailed info for you on how you can buy a shirt.



One thing I'd like to note is that none of the money for shirts would be going to charity. I would NOT be making any profit on shirts, as you will order directly from the place that makes them



I think since, you've all been so generous that you've earned the right to have a t-shirt if you want one. So, I'm putting a little extra time in to make it happen for you.

Just made it over here from the Moonlight Rising Board and read that we have the official Amber seal of approval.

Now, can I just say: How cool is that?

I feel like I've just been knighted by the queen or some such honor.

We, Amber's Birthday Brigade, have the equivalent of a royal charter, mandate, or what have you.

We can now go forth and spread the word of Amber and do good knowing that we have her blessing.

I'm just overly tired at the moment so this is all just flowing from my head with no filtering process in place at the moment.

On another note, a friend purchased a referring domain name for my web page. The new domain is http://www.amberbirthday.com, but the old one still works as well.



In regard to the T-shirts, there may be a slight delay. I have asked Amber if it is okay if we use her picture on the shirts. I hope to hear something from her within a week or so, if not I'll decide whether we go ahead or just use the simpler design.

If you find that the shipping is extremely high (in the high end of the range they gave) drop me an email, and I'll see if I can find a cheaper way.



The way the T-shirt ordering will work is:



When the design has been decided upon and everything is set to go, I'll email everyone with the address of a special Web site that the company is setting up for us. At the site you can see the design, and order your shirt.



Now all we need is to hear back from Amber about the use of a pic, and I'll set this thing in motion.



If I don't hear anything by say next Tuesday (12/10/02) I'll just make an executive decision and we'll start printing shirts.

Well, Tuesday is here. Since I haven't heard any objections from Amber in regard to using her pic on the shirts, I'm making the executive decision to go ahead with the design.



Hence, the T-shirts WILL have a pic of Amber on them (supplied by my friend James).



I will post more information as it becomes available.



I hope to have some artwork back from the T-shirt company on Thursday. Hopefully, the design will be approved and the Web site that the company is setting up for ABB team members to order from will be running within a week or so.

Sorry, I haven't been in contact as much lately. I've been busy, busy, busy between the charity project, the T-shirts, and Christmas.



I've nailed down the main design with the T-shirt company. Now, we're working on a smaller design that will be on the sleeve.



I should have more info toward the end of the week.
