I believe there's also a song called "I miss you" by Haddaway, and the fact that I know this is very bad for my rep: early teen's taste, huh... ;)

Ok, seems I was right, and the lyrics really fit W/T's relationship after the break and all. I'll try to transcribe the lyrics. The music's actually quite sweet/sad, not that shabby.

I MISS YOU

I know you could hear me

You'd say there's always two sides to every story

Here's mine: I found out I can't live without you

Loving you was easy and being through was hard

One too many lies and you were gone.

I didn't wanna face up to the pain I've done

I thought I'd be alright but I was wrong

I miss you, oh I miss you

I'm gonna need you more and more each day

I miss you more than words could say,

more than words could ever say

Saying that I'm sorry isn't good enough

I need to show you just how much I've changed

Coz, girl, if you could see what I'm going through

you wouldn't be afraid to try again

I miss you, oh I miss you

I'm gonna need you more and more each day

I miss you more than words could say,

more than words could ever say

I miss you, I miss you

I'm gonna need you, need you

I miss you more than words could say

I miss you, oh I miss you

I'm gonna need you more and more each day

I miss you more than words could say,

more than words could ever say

LMAO...I know the feeling, KJ. There are probably so many songs out there with this title, it's hard to pin down just WHO has recorded.

LOL, Kieli. I've even edited my post to add the lyrics... I'm ashamed to say I found the CD in the back of my closet. Ah well, the lyrics are appropriate.

Why Don't We Try Again

By Brian May

After the storm there's the dead of night

It seems there's no way back for me

So little comfort in my little bed

To know that it had to be

And now I miss you in so many ways

You know I miss you for so many lonely days

Why don't we try again

In the dark there's a desert flower

It blooms when no one sees

Our love was stronger than history

Our love will never cease to be

How can I live with you as a memory

You hold the best part of me

And now I miss you in so many ways

You know I miss you for so many lonely days

Why don't we try again

No use of me waiting by the telephone

You're gone, you ain't gonna ring

And now I miss you in so many ways

You know I miss you for so many lonely lonely days and nights

I know you miss me for so many lonely days

Why don't we try again

Why don't we try again

Why don't we try again

Heaven From Here

By Robbie Williams

Know no fear I'll still be here tomorrow

Bend my ear I'm not gonna go away

You are love so why do you shed a tear

Know no fear you will see heaven from here

I'll shelter you make it alright to cry

And you'll help too cos the faith in myself

Has run dry

We are love and I just wanna hold you near

Know no fear we will see heaven from here

I see real love in your eyes

And it fills me up when you start to cry

I just wanna hold you near

We will see heaven from here

Well it all seems out of reach

I will take the blame if it keeps the peace

My shelf life's short

Wish they'd make it more easy to follow

And I've been caught with nothing but

Love on my mind

We are love don't let it fall on deaf ears

Now it's clear we have seen heaven from here

Angels

By Robbie Williiams

I sit and wait

Does an angel contemplate my fate

And do they know

The places where we go

When we're grey and old

'cos I have been told

That salvation lets their wings unfold

So when I'm lying in my bed

Thoughts running through my head

And I feel the love is dead

I'm loving angels instead

And through it all she offers me protection

A lot of love and affection

Whether I'm right or wrong

And down the waterfall

Wherever it may take me

I know that life won't break me

When I come to call she won't forsake me

I'm loving angels instead

When I'm feeling weak

And my pain walks down a one way street

I look above

And I know I'll always be blessed with love

And as the feeling grows

She breathes flesh to my bones

And when love is dead

I'm loving angels instead

And through it all she offers me protection

A lot of love and affection

Whether I'm right or wrong

And down the waterfall

Wherever it may take me

I know that life won't break me

When I come to call she won't forsake me

I'm loving angels instead

And through it all she offers me protection

A lot of love and affection

Whether I'm right or wrong

And down the waterfall

Wherever it may take me

I know that life won't break me

When I come to call she won't forsake me

I'm loving angels instead

I was trying to find out who performed a song called "I Miss You". It was in a post earlier but didn't say who performs it. It describes how I felt before I met my girlfriend so well...I just wanted to know who did it. Sorry for the seemingly endless babble. Here are the lyrics.

I miss you

But I haven't met you yet

So special

But it hasn't happened yet

You are gorgeous

But I haven't met you yet

I remember

But it hasn't happened yet

And if you believe in dreams

Or what is more important

That a dream can come true

I will meet you

I was peaking

But it hasn't happened yet

I haven't been given

My best souvenir

I miss you

But I haven't met you yet

I know your habits

But wouldn't recognize you yet

And if you believe in dreams

Or what is more important

That a dream can come true

I will meet you

I'm so impatient

I can't stand the wait

When will I get my cuddle?

Who are you?

I know by now that you'll arrive

By the time I stop waiting

I miss you

If anyone can help me I would appreciate it.

Post subject: Could it be any harder
PostPosted: Wed Jun 05, 2002 2:25 pm
I just bought The Calling's album, Camino Palmero, and there was a song on it that reminded me of Willow and Tara. It actually reminds me of them, and... certain events, so much i can't listen to the song without turning into a blubbering idiot.

I guess this song could be what Willow's thinking....

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Calling

Could it be any harder

You left me with goodbye and open arms

A cut so deep i don't deserve

You were always invincible in my eyes

the only thing against us now is time

Chorus

Could it be any harder to say goodbye and without you

Could it be any harder to watch you go, to face what's true

If i only had one more day

I lie down and blind myself with laughter

A quick fix of hope is what i'm needing

And how i wish that i could turn back the hours

But i know i just don't have the power

Chorus

Could it be any harder to say goodbye and without you

Could it be any harder to watch you go, to face what's true

If i only had one more day

I'd just at the chance,

We'd drink and we'd dance

and i'd listen close to your every word,

As if it's your last, i know it's your last,

Cause today, oh, you're gone

Chorus

Could it be any harder to say goodbye and without you

Could it be any harder to watch you go, to face what's true

If i only had one more day

Like sand on my feet,

The smell of sweet perfume

You stick to me forever

and i wish you didn't go

I wish you didn't go, i wish you didn't go away

To touch you again,

With life in your hands

It couldn't be any harder.... harder.... harder

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I think a quick fix of hope is what i need at the moment. Kittens?

There are just so many songs that remind me of W/T.

I've been listening a lot to Alejandro Sanz, a spanish singer. He's just great. Some time ago he sang 2 songs with The Corrs. One of them is "The hardest day" It's very sad, and it reminds me when Tara left Willow.

One more day, one last look

Before I leave it all behind

And play the role that's meant for us

That said we'd say goodbye

One more night by your side

Where our dreams collide

And all we have is everything

And there's no pain there's no hurt

There's no wrong it's all right

If I promise to believe will you believe

That there's nowhere that we'd rather be

Nowhere describes where we are

I’ve no choice, I love you

Leave, love you wave goodbye

And all I ever wanted was to stay

And nothing in this world’s gonna change, change

Never wanna wake up from this night

Never wanna leave this moment

Waiting for you only, only you

Never gonna forget every single thing you do

When loving you is my finest hour

Leaving you, the hardest day of my life

The hardest day of my life

I still breathe, I still eat

And the sun it shines the same as it did yesterday

But there's no warmth, no light

I feel empty inside

But I never will regret a single day

I know it isn't going to go away

What I'm feeling for you

I will always love you

Leave, love you wave goodbye

And all, and all I ever wanted was to stay

Nothing in this world's gonna change...

Never wanna wake up from this night

Never wanna leave this moment

Waiting for you only, only you

Never gonna forget every single thing you do

When loving you is my finest hour

I never knew I'd ever feel this way

I feel for you...

Never wanna wake up (I feel for you, I feel for you) from this night

Never (never, never) wanna leave this moment

Wainting for you only, only you

Never gonna forget (never gonna forget) every single thing you do

When loving you is my finest hour

Leaving you, the hardest day of my life...

Never wanna wake up from this night...

Read the lyrics of "I'm alive" by Celine Dion today. Can't say I really like her music, though her songs are usually very fitting to make musicvideo's. Extremely irritating... Anyway, under other circumstances it would have been great... Now you can only use it in a very mocking manner, a way of parody

hmmmm....think i got one....reminds me a little of how delicate things were between them, esp. after the little rift....very sad, but it's a gorgeous song....my ms. ani difranco

i am walking

out in the rain

and i am listening to the low moan

of the dial tone again

and i am getting

nowhere with you

and i can't let it go

and i can't get through...

the old woman behind the pink curtains

and the closed door

on the first floor

she's listening through the air shaft

to see how long our swan song can last

and both hands

now use both hands

oh, no don't close your eyes

i am writing

graffiti on your body

i am drawing the story of

how hard we tried

i am watching your chest rise and fall

like the tides of my life,

and the rest of it all

and your bones have been my bedframe

and your flesh has been my pillow

i am waiting for sleep

to offer up the deep

with both hands

in each other's shadows we grew less and less tall

and eventually our theories couldn't explain it all

and i'm recording our history now on the bedroom wall

and when we leave the landlord will come

and paint over it all

and i am walking

out in the rain

and i am listening to the low moan of the dial tone again

and i am getting nowhere with you

and i can't let it go

and i can't get through

so now use both hands

please use both hands

oh, no don't close your eyes

i am writing graffiti on your body

i am drawing the story of how hard we tried

hard we tried

how hard we tried

*please use both hands....*

VampiraJen, I'm excited to see another Robbie Williams fan wandering about here! I posted "She's the One" in another thread at one point but I'll put it up here as well because I think it fits perfectly.

She's The One - Robbie Williams

I was her she was me

We were one we were free

And if there's somebody calling me on

She's the one

If there's somebody calling me on

She's the one

We were young we were wrong

We were fine all along

If there's somebody calling me on

She's the one

When you get to where you wanna go

And you know the things you wanna know

You're smiling

When you said what you wanna say

And you know the way you wanna play, yeah

You'll be so high you'll be flying

Though the sea will be strong

I know we'll carry on

'Cos if there's somebody calling me on

She's the one

If there's somebody calling me on

She's the one

When you get to where you wanna go

And you know the things you wanna know

You're smiling

When you said what you wanna say

And you know the way you wanna say it

You'll be so high you'll be flying

I was her she was me

We were one we were free

If there's somebody calling me on

She's the one

If there's somebody calling me on

She's the one

If there's somebody calling me on

She's the one

Yeah she's the one

If there's somebody calling me on

She's the one

She's the one

If there's somebody calling me on

She's the one

She's the one

If there's somebody calling me on

She's the one

She's the one...

This song makes me think of what Willow will feel after the whole crappy season ending...(Tara, we miss you)

------------------

Cry

by The Sundays

and I'm standing on a platform

now I'm staring from a train

and all the trees roll back beside but I'm so oblivious

to the dark to the light

it's all the same

you gave me so much

and now it's of the earth

and it makes me cry

it can make me cry

and you're standing here beside me

in a picture in a frame

and your voice could never fade it's so familiar

things you said in my head

every day

you gave me so much

and now it's of the earth

and it makes me cry

it can make me cry

you're with me so much

though you're never with me anymore

and it makes me cry

it can make me cry.

I know that it's really criminal for me to be listening to country music sometimes but there are a couple of Bryan White songs that just get me thinking about W/T every time I listen to them:

ME AND THE MOON

There's not a star left in the sky tonight

That hasn't been wished on

And I've been wishin' I could buy me a Wishin' Well

I'd throw in every penny I own

I've got moonlight and a warm June night

All that's missing here is you

Me and the moon have never been so blue

Chorus:

If I may I wish I might find you lying beside me

In a way

I can see your eyes in the starts

But it's not the same

I wanna see the stars in your eyes tonight

To be the stars in your eyes tonight

Just me and the stars in your eyes tonight

But it's me and the moon

It seems if you believe in a dream enough

It has to come true

And mine would turn back time til the world unwinds

If I could only be holding you

So if a star falls from the sky tonight

You'll know what I tried to do

Me and the moon have never been so blue

HELPLESS HEART

I'm sitting here in this stranger's place

And time is racing by

I've been way out here for a month or more

Tonight I'm wondering why

You try to understand the things that I feel

Maybe this time I'll find a way to explain it

Cause there is a dream deep inside my head

And it may seem like it's breaking the thread

That holds me to you

Still you have never wanted to change me

But darling I know though we're far apart

The signal is strong

This helpless heart will always belongs to you...to you

This power takes from the place I belong

To where only the strong get through

You've got to keep on believing or you'll lose your way

Cause it slips right out of view

Though there are days the light can flicker and fade

Here in this place tonight a fire is burning

Cause there is a dream deep inside my head

And it may seem like it's breaking the thread

That holds me to you

Still you have never wanted to change me

But believe me I know though we're far apart

This signal is strong

This helpless heart will always belong to you

Will always belong to you

To you

Only to you

No one but you

I just love them.---Toni

Really do... Found some lyrics fit for Willow...

WALKING HIGHER - HEATHER NOVA

I carry you with me

a ghost inside

and in these shattered arms

you're still alive

I carry you with me,

a holy shrine

and dogs and angels follow

right behind.

And could I be walking higher

Could I be right beside her ?

The bones they buried

will feed the trees

but every word you spoke

is still in me.

And could I be walking higher,

could I be right beside her ?

And I will feel for you in music

And I will send that river home.

And I will cry for you sometimes

when the night is down.

And I will raise my head up to the

mountains,

talk to the birds and fly

'cause the spirit lives on,

when the body dies

And could I be walking higher,

could I be right beside her ?

Could I be walking higher

Could I be right beside her ?

DARLING COMPANION - HEIDI BERRY (another singer-songwriter)

You were the best friend I ever knew

There was nothing I had to pretend

And nothing to prove

You gave a love that came to me

So strong and so free

And now that you're gone

You have left me life's legacy

But it's so hard to live on your own

And it's so hard learning to live without

My darling companion

Nothing can last forever

This much I know

So sad and so sorry we came to the end

And now nothing in this wide world

Can compare to your smile

But I count myself lucky

That I had your love for a while

But it's so hard to live on your own

And it's so hard learning to live without

My darling companion

It was you who showed me there's no way

Of getting blood from a stone

And those whose love won't come easy

Well, you just leave them alone

If there's a shadow on the sun today

And the moon is hiding behind the cloud

It's because I've been thinking of you

And your sweet, sweet way

It's because I've been thinking

Of the debt I'll never repay

But it's so hard to live on your own

And it's so hard learning to live without

My darling companion

This Day Belongs To Me

This is the way to the freedom I've only dreamed of.

These are the wings I was never allowed to try.

Come closer and hear me, there's a world out there to see.

I say this day belongs to me.

This is the day I make lover and friends of strangers.

My turn to learn about wonderful love and care.

Our love will be gentle, sentimental, spread it's wings.

This day belongs to you and me. I believe it.

If the stars are in our corner we'll have love and laughter.

And love in long overdue.

If you see the light in my sympathic eyes, it's for you.

For you, all for you.

This is the door I have waited so long to open.

This is the day when I'm given my room to breathe.

Once chance in a lifetime, and my name is on the key.

I say this day belongs to me. I believe it.

If the stars are in my corner, I'll have love and laughter.

This day belongs to me.

Love Conquers All

Love conquers all, so the story is told.

True love doesn't get old, it gets stronger.

Love conquers all, that's not hard to believe.

If you find it naive, still believe it when you try.

Take it in to heart, fill it up with love, offer it someone new.

Women make it strong, have them pass it on, let them have as much as you.

Love is what you make it, how you give and take it.

First time out, just fake it. You don't have to be taught.

Love conquers all, takes the best from the worst.

Nice guys comin' in first all around us.

Love conquers all, and the love's not easy to hide.

If you let it outside, it will bounce right back to you.

Take it in to heart, fill it up with love, it will leave you in a living

dream.

Love can make you drown, you can never tell all the things

love can give.

Love is what you make it, how you give and take it.

First time out, just fake it. You don't have to be taught.

Love conquers all. be it strong and full of seed.

Take as much as you need, you deserve it.

Love conquers all. Could the west be one without love?

It's love that carried the wagons. Love's what happened to

dragons.

Yes love can handel the pieces that fall.

Love conquers all...

I was driving home from school and I put on this country station and they put on this new song by Lonestar "Not A Day Goes By. And as you can imagine I started to cry right there in my car.

"Not A Day Goes By"

Got a picture of you I carry in my heart

Close my eyes to see it when the world gets dark

Got a memory of you I carry in my soul

I wrap it close around me when the nights get cold

If you asked me how I'm doin' I'd say just fine

But the truth is baby, if you could read my mind

Not a day goes by that I don't think of you

After all this time you're still with me it's true

Somehow you remain locked so deep inside

Baby, baby, oh baby, not a day goes by

I still wait for the phone in the middle of the night

Thinkin' you might call me if your dreams don't turn out right

And it still amazes me that I lie here in the dark

Wishin' you were next to me, your head against my heart

If you asked me how I'm doing I'd say just fine

But the truth is baby, if you could read my mind

Not a day goes by that I don't think of you

After all this time you're still with me it's true

Somehow you remain locked so deep inside

Baby, baby, oh baby, not a day goes by

Minutes turn to hours, and the hours to days

Seems it's been forever that I've felt this way

Not a day goes by that I don't think of you

After all this time you're still with me it's true

Somehow you remain locked so deep inside

Baby, baby, oh baby, not a day goes by

Here's an oldie but a goodie. Its a haunting love song that always makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end(or maybe that's just me).

The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face

Roberta Flack

The first time ever I saw your face

I thought the sun rose in your eyes

And the moon and stars were the gifts you gave

To the dark and the empty skies, my love,

To the dark and the empty skies.

The first time ever I kissed your mouth

And felt your heart beat close to mine

Like the trembling heart of a captive bird

That was there at my command, my love

That was there at my command.

The first time ever I lay with you

I felt the earth move in my hand

I thought our joy would fill the earth

And last 'till the end of time, my love,

And last 'till the end of time.

Been listening to Nina Simone today. I think yer man Sinatra did a version of this song too, but doubt it was as good as Queen Nina's version!

Can't get out of this mood

All day long before my eyes come little visions of you.

They shouldn't, they mustn't, but they do, they do.

And I can't get out of this mood, can't get over this feeling

Can't get out of this mood, last night your lips were too appealing

The thrill should have been all gone by today in the usual way

But it's only your arms I'm out of.

Can't get out of this dream, what a fool I was to dream of you

'twasn't part of my scheme to sigh and tell you that I love you

But I'm sayin' it, I'm playin' it dumb

Can't get out of this mood, heartbreak, here I come

The thrill should have been all gone by today in the usual way

But it's only your arms I'm out of.

Can't get out of this dream, what a fool I was to dream of you

'twasn't part of my scheme to sigh and tell you that I love you

But I'm sayin' it, yes, I'm playin' it dumb

Can't get out of this mood, heartbreak, here I come

For me most of Michelle Branch's the sprit room reminds me of W/T from 'everywhere' which reminds me of when they first met in S4 and 'you set me free' which reminds me of the relationship and the love that they have. Also of course 'goodbye to you' which was used when Tara left.

If you listen to the first verse of Left of Center its so Willow

I'm a little left of center, I'm a lil out of tune, some say I'm paranormal so I just bend there spoon. Who wants to be ordinary in a crazy mixed up world, I don't care what their saying as long as I'm your girl.

Totally agree about The Spirit Room. One of my favourite albums.

I am sooo into Michelle Branch's new single (well, here anyway) lately...

"If you want to,

I can save you,

I can take you away from here.

So lonely inside,

So busy out there,

And all you wanted was somebody who cares..."

Since there seems to be such a strong connection with W/T (she played in an ep - kittens seem to make musicvideo's on her songs - and the lyrics are just fitting, the music's catchy) I think I'm gonna buy her album first change I get.

"In the half-tone light of a young morning she sighs and shifts on the pillow. And across her face dancing, the first shadows fly to kiss the Pussy Willow." (Jethro Tull)

Wow... That's really sweet of ya :) I do live in Belgium, though... Hope that isn't a problem... Otherwise, no biggie ;) Thanks in advance: sure appreciate it. Is there anything you want ? Favourite genre ? Just ask, huh.

You'll have to email me your snail mail addy, KJ. No worries about sending it to Europe. It might even cost less than me trying to send my mum that pound of cashews that's been in my kitchen for ages.

Been listening to the Dutch band Krezip, and this song just seems like something Willow would have listened to after Tabula Rasa.

Everything and more

When the aching is over I hope we can talk again

I hope that you'll understand me

I wonder if I ever will

I'm now searching for a better way

Something that makes me feel good 'bout myself

I hope someday we'll laugh about it all and then

everything turns out to be allright.

I wish I could tell you all

I hope that we'll both be wise

Just wish it wouldn't give this pain

And that it wasn't my fault

And that I could help you out baby

'Cause I still remember everything

The clock's still ticking

Your heart's still beating

so there probably will be love again

But I can feel the aching don't care for what reason

But I'd rather see you smiling.

I'm now searching for a better way

Something that makes me feel good 'bout myself

I hope someday we'll laugh about it all and then

everything turns out to be allright.

I wish I could tell you all

I hope that we'll both be wise

Just wish it wouldn't give this pain

And that it wasn't my fault

And that I could help you out baby

'Cause I still remember everything

Its everything and more, we were

I don't think this has been mentioned... it's "Show Me" by Bree Sharp, and one of my favorite peppy love songs... it sounds alot like the beginning of Wara....

Solitary girl I have been

Living in a cell made of skin

Sealed inside myself, nothing gets out or in

I can't feel what you feel

Chorus:

Show me the way to my heart

Show me the way

Show me the way to my heart, baby

Show me, show me...

I'll give you everything I posses

If you tell me where you keep your happiness

I look more and more and I find less and less

I don't know what you know

But I make it up as I go

Chorus

My fingers search for you while I sleep

Looking for something to keep

Help me feel what you feel, baby

Chorus

Show me, show me...

(sigh) I think someday I'll make a music vid to that... Also, I'm gonna redo "Rhiannon" by Fleetwood Mac, I already have "Paint It Black" by the Rollong Stones, and maybe "Blood and Fire' by the Indigo Girls later on...

www.headtilt.com -My sister's site, but my vids are on it, and my "Paint" should be up later this week...

Feel the :love

~Cappy

"I just wanna live the life I please/ Don't want no enemies/ I don't want nothing, if I have to fake it/ Never take nothing don't belong to me/ Everything's paid for, nothing's free/ If I give my heart out, do you promise not to break it?" -"I Think I Lost It" Lucinda Williams

If you havent heard 'Even When I'm Sleeping' by Leonardos Bride, you should try to track it down. It's a cool song, and I think pretty applicable to W/T.
