I dont remember exactly what episode its in, season 4 when Faith comes back, it may be 'Who are You', but I'm not sure.

Anyway, its the scene where Faith confronts Buffy and Willow at school, Faith and Buffy are fighting, and Willow jumps in and belts Faith across the back with her backpack, then jumps back out all scared-like. The look on Alyson's face and the way she does the whole 'trying to be tough but really scared as hell' pose cracks me up.

Oh, and then there's the "Oh my god, I'm cured! I want the boys!" scene in OMWF.

Which doesnt make me laugh so much as go "mmmm.....Amber" Homer Simpson-style.

I love the bit just after that where Tara throws her head back and laughs.

It made me realise that we'd never really heard Tara *properly* laugh until then.

Which is a shame, y'know, because its a damn fine laugh.

That's how Amber laughs. When I first heard it, I was like, "Amber laugh! That's her!". Hee. So cute. It's a dirty laugh. The last time I heard it, Amber was in the process of telling us what her favorite word was. Clue: it starts with a 'C' and rhymes with "shunt". Heh. Gotta love that girl.

Oh lord yes Ruth, that laugh reminded me of Amber more than anything Tara ever said or did (and thanks for refreshing that lovely memory :grin ). It was a great to hear Tara laugh like that. We have seen her smile often enough, but to laugh out loud. Hmmm. Yum. But come to think of it, as much as the characters make jokes, whilst they often crack me up, I don't really recall any of them in the fits of laughter. Odd really, ever other emotion is featured in abundance.

DrG, remember that episode where Dawn accidentally invites Harmony into the house when Xander and Anya are house-sitting, and then Buffy and Riley find out that Harmony is threatening to kill her? Buffy was cracking up to no end there. But true, that's the only episode I can remember with outright laughter in it. Out of 119 episodes, that's pretty depressing.

Amber's favourite word is a word that 'starts with C and rhymes with shunt'?!

Hi, I'm usually a lurker and haven't registered here. But I love Tara with a passion and I want to thank everybody in this treat for making me smile for the first time in a long while (excluding the funny conversation I had with BunnyPhobia yesterday). Even though I'm crying through my smile because I just love Tara so much.

Anyway, I can't belive no-one mentioned 'sassy eggs'! That's soooo funny.

Also, not really W/T but about them: in 'Family', when Buffy says mr. MacClay will have to go trough her and Dawn adds: 'And me'. Brave Dawn, standing up for Tara.

I can only add one that hasnt been mentioned and its a Buffy moment, in Hush when Buffy pantomimes the question of how to kill the gentlemen and she makes the "touch myself" motion...The looks on everyones faces :lol Then she takes the stake out of her purse and looks at everyone like "get your mind out of the gutter:" :grin Truly awesome moments everyone has mentioned...

Actually, I thought she was making the guys "touch myself" motion, which freaked Giles and, of course, Xander. This made it even funnier, as Buffy and Willow didn't get it till after she re-enacted w/ the stake. Then they're like "can you believe these guys?" w/ their expressions. :)

Crack me up...

Postby Big Dummy » Sun May 12, 2002 8:31 pm

Have to chime in with absolute adoration of Amber's laugh in OMWF. Nummy treats in my belly every time.

Another fave is the scene in Dead Things when they meet outside the Magic Box. Willow's "The funky Monkey claims another victim".

Willow and Xander both trying to take the lead in Tabula Rasa.

The scene towards the end of The Yoko Factor, when Willow and Tara show up at Giles' after the big fight, and Giles and Tara exchange these looks like, "Huh, you and Willow?" and "Yup, me and Will" blush blush.

Okay, this is really REALLY random, but it's a little moment, and it always cracks me up.

In the opening credits of Season 3 (I think) is a scene of Willow at the Bronze that's taken from the Season 2 Buffy Birthday Episode (I forget the name) during the dream sequence (I think ... This was three years ago, people - if you expect me to remember, you're smoking funny little "cigarettes").

Anyway. On the table, there's this ... monkey. With a fez. And symbols.

And I'm telling you, I bust up Every Time I see it.

Sass, I have to admit I crack up at that too. Oh, God I never thought I'd be one of those people the Weitz brothers were talking about. Put a monkey in a movie and it's automatically a better movie. The Weitz brothers made American Pie in case I lost anyone in my ramblings.

In "Gingerbread", when Buffy bends over, still tied to the stake and the demon impales itself on the stake with Buffy saying "What? Did I get it?"

Okay this isn't Willow or Tara, but I just remembered something else!

In No Place Like Home near the beginning when Buffy walks into the magic shop and Giles is standing there in his purple wizard outfit!!! The stupid look on his face and Buffy's resulting look of horror makes me burst out laughing every time, sigh the good old days when Buffy actually used to make me laugh!

The S4 hallowe'en episode is almost the same, with Giles-in-sombrero. Too mind-boggling to be anything but hilarious.

I luv Anya in her bunny suit- It the scariest thing she can think of. To bad Tara wasnt introduced yet- I wonder what she would have been. Willow as Joan of Arc was it? Oh so cute. :grin

best bit

My fave bit was a reaction to W &T. It was in Seeing Red, when Dawn came across them! Her reaction was the same as mine!

Yoko Factor

Spike has pretended to break into the Initiative and get some discs.

Giles: Have any trouble, getting in

Spike: Nah, a couple made me on the way out, but I took care of it.

Giles: Mmm..gave them a good running away from did you?

Excellent line, the sarcasm is so thick in Giles' voice.

Then later during the argument, they're saying Buffy can't fight Adam alone

Giles: You never train with me anymore, he's going to kick your arse!

Buffy: Giles

Giles: Sorry, was that a bit honest? Terribly sorry.

And the falling off the chair cause he's so drunk and throwing his sweater onto Xander's head and then the funniest bit of all, when Xander suddenly realises what Willow said to Buffy about Tara.

Xander:...TTara's your girlfriend.

Then from upstairs you hear Giles cry

Giles: Bloody Hell!!

Frickin' hilarious. As you can probably tell, I really like this episode!
