(at least for one episode...her longevity with the series isn't specified). It's being produced by lesbian website http://www.ourchart.com/ , and is set to debut shortly. It's the brainchild of Angela Robinson, writer/director of D.E.B.S.

I followed the link as well as going to IMDB. This sounds pretty cool. I'm excited to see what kind of stuff Amber winds up doing. Judging from the description of the work, sounds like things could get steamy. Perhaps that's just my own rampant optimism, but it works for me.

Okay, so now for a more coherent and eloquent reply to this wonderful message from the Goddessesesss... heh.

I've been wanting to see Girltrash, like, what feels like forever! Angela is such a genius when it comes to lesbian (fun!) filmmaking and I've been perusing her Girltrash blogs for quite a while now. The cast was already starstudded with great actresses like Jordana Brewster (who we all know as Lucy from D.E.B.S.), Rose Rollins (lovely Tasha from the L) and the young ladies from South of Nowhere, but now she's giving us Amber too?!? (Now imagine me using Pam Grier's voice:) "Is this shiz foh real?"

Angela, I so wanna be your prison-bitch.

This could be very good indeed. Obviously we hope that Amber will be in it for the long haul but even if not then a good one-shot will suffice.

I am glad to see Amber continuing to give her commitment, time and energy to giving gay independent cinema the help it needs to try and get it mainstream (which it really needs to survive). I am hopeful that, like DEBS, this may very get picked up and remade either as amainstream series on cable or mainstream tv or as apossible big screen movie ala DEBS. Either way, I would hope that Amber would be in a position to reprise her role in either case..

I am giddy about Girltrash! I don't think Amber is in it much from what I gather but I'm sure she is wonderful. Gabby and Mandy from SoN look so cute and I hear that they get to be all coupley on screen for once.

Of course this was supposed to be out in March so I am not sure when it will appear.

That's right! You heard it here first, folks! At long last we have an
OFFICIAL LAUNCH DATE!!!

That would be June 10th for those of you who can't count...

We have braved sleepless nights, freaky bums on the street, been
kicked out of locations, been held up by the L.A.P.D. -- all in order

And I just have to say the homepage is fucking hilarious!! Criminal behaviour has never been sexier...

Amber plays Svetlana Dragovich Oy, if I wasn't already having my Eastern-European chick-fling-thing, I SO WOULD NOW! And it's not just Amber, the entire cast is kick-ass.

Rose Rollins, sigh, I'm not sure how I like you better, sweet and shy or out loud potty mouthed as you are in Girltrash, heh.

Forget Spashley, Colby and Misty are gonna be way more interesting.

At first I was really sad to hear that Jordana wasn't gonna be in this as much as originally planned (cuz face it, the woman is so fine), which made me a little bit weary about the other three leads Tylar, Daisy and LouAnne. But I think I'm gonna love them just as much (Daisy especially ). Their dynamics, the humour, the "sweet love-making", the crazy shenanigans and hijinks... well, you get my drift.

Angela, my prison-bitch proposal still stands hun...

i just watched Girltrash wow it looks great and funny could of had alot more of it though or some amber hehe! there's a character still of her the caption says 'Lana as beautiful as she is deadly' hehe! i'll say

Funny, in Amber's "still" photo, it looks like she is standing in the courtyard area outside of Giles' apartment building....

I don't think she REALLY is, it just makes me think of that set from Buffy...

Well. The second installment is up and no Amber yet... and so the anticipation grows. The whole character introduction part where she spits is a *great* teaser though.

Got to say, I am finding the updates a wee bit on the short side (about a minute and a half per webisode) but qutie amusing. I am definately going to keep watching!
