Hope this is the correct place to post this: I saw Amber Benson last night in San Luis Obispo, California at the Cal Poly Performing Arts Center. She sang backup on a song called, "Bitter Honey" for Adam Busch's group Common Rotation (they opened up for Indigo Girls who were headliners for SLO Pride Week). I'd never heard of Common Rotation, but they were actually pretty good, kinda folksy ala Be Good Tanyas or such. My sister and I were pretty far back but I said, "I think that's the dude from BVS - Amber Benson's boyfriend." She had no idea who I was talking about. So, it was at the end of their set, and he called a few other musicians out and then her and she sang harmony with him and the group.
Then afterwards, she was out in the lobby selling his group's cd's, smiling and talking to everyone and really talking up his band. As always, very nice to everyone and happy to support the group.
I'd never seen Indigo Girls - they're very good in concert, and they sang for 1hr45min non-stop - that was very impressive to me as I am so used to like 1hr and 10 costume changes!
Anyway, that's my Amber story. I tried to get pics, but we were pretty far away. If any turn out I'll try to post them somewhere, or send them to someone who can.
