FYI - as WW mentioned amber gave the show a nice boost in the ratings. the following ep went back down in the ratings

so would seem adding amber to a show is a real ratings plus

While it is not strictly on-topic...regarding the person who said it was silly how the vamps could have sex on Buffy...actually, sexuality has long been a significant part of the vampire saga...not necessarily actual physical acts...but definitely a raw sensual power and a lust-like magnetism where the victims are concerned...look at Lucy in Bram Stoker's Dracula...also, the 3 Sisters and particularly where female vampire stories are concerned there has always been a vein (no pun intended) of sexuality at the heart of the legend...in fact, more often than not it is a decidedly lesbian sexuality at that...so really, being the hot Amberfied creature that she is...how could Lenore not be one sexy powerful thrall inducing mama? She could be my dark mistress any day No biting though

looks like amber has friends in the press who were at the press tour for televison critics - apparently one of the press asked the producers of supernatural if amber would be back and they said they would love her back! so lets hope they take a hint and do get her back!

If you glance at some of the earlier posts in this thread, you will see that everyone agrees that they (i.e. the writers/producers) seem to have deliberately left the ending open--so we're all hoping that the lovely Lenore and her vampire "coven" will reappear: she would make a formidable ally for the brothers!

NOTE: If you check my posts, you'll see that it is my fervent hope (admittedly unlikely to be fulfilled :( ) that she'll turn out to be the "Lost Lenore" of EA Poe!
