Amber in horror movie "EL INTERMEDIO"?

Yeah thats what i thought. The link is actualy about a fortnight old. Then i've been reading all the press on here and other places, and it seemed weird it wasn't around more. Then i started thinking 'waaiiitt a minute what if it wasn't true' so i asked my friend where he got this info about amber, and he sent me the link. But yeah, i'll believe it when i see it.



I do think it's a possiblity, i mean i'm sure amber would want to do the best for the film, and if the creators have asked her nicely. If it is true the guy's probaly overhyped the scene. Or possibly it's another charicter that has the scene and it's got mixed up.

Hi folks, just thought I would add a little perspective here.



Amber has said in several interviews that she has no wish to do any nude scenes, and we all know that she is capable of turning down a role if she finds the part morally reprehensible. So, regardless of the money, I don't see her compromising her principles (which is something I love about her).



Secondly, she was in a cast. Not as a film gimmick, but with a real broken foot (as we all know). I find it impossible to beleive that Amber would have been physically capable of doing a torrid sex scene whilst nursing a broken foot.



Thirdly, Romy (litte_crazy80) has her finger on the pulse and if she has heard it is a false rumour, you can pretty much take that to the bank as genuine. She has never been wrong with regards to Amber.



In summation, this rumour is someone's idea of either a bad joke, a mistake in identity on their part or an attempt to blacken Amber's reputation. The first is pretty weak, the second is acceptable providing the mistake is owned up to but the third shouldn't be tolerated.

i'm agreeing whole heartedly with ASA. IF there was a nude scene (which i doubt) they used a body double as ALOT of actors do when it comes to nude scene. i do not believe it was Ms. Benson and shall continue to not believe until i see it with my own eyes. It's just not Ms. Benson's acting style and that is one of the resons she's so great.

Well, I just saw the movie and you can all relax, because there was no nude scene with Amber. ( as if we ever doubted her, at least I didn't)



Before seeing this movie, I read allot of reviews about it, and normally I don't really agree with reviews because they are often too harsh, but with this movie I have to agree, because it was pretty bad. The acting overall wasn't much to write home about, and a storyline isn't really in it.



The only good thing about it is Amber ( and I'm not just saying this) and some of the horror effects.



Amber is the only one in the movie that can bring some sympathy to a (her) character, where the other actors fail. And I always enjoy seeing Amber in a different role then we're used to. You can tell that she's having fun playing her character, especially the slightly hysteric scenes. Oohh and its pretty adorable to watch her hobble around with her crutches, as she had her leg or foot broken at that time, but it does give us a fun scene where Amber is given a piggyback ride.



For the people who don't wanna see Amber die a gruesome dead, don't watch this.



So all in all, a pretty bad movie, but for Amber fans and people who don't take movies to serious, it can be a fun ride.



p.s:

Hopefully, I didn't come over to harsh, but I'm a movie addict, especially horror movies, and apart from Amber, this movie was, for me, a let down.

Okay im big with the horror movies... but this one put me in hysterics... Being staright to video what else is there to expect. But i have seen some good ones, rarely... The special FX made me giggle.



The acting, except for Amber, was okay. It was fun to see Amber in this role, it was different from what im used to. Heh i giggled when she said fuck... okay it was worth hearing her curse up storm..

Having watched "Intermedio" last evening, I have to state that what needed more detailed attention was the hotness of Amber's body and less of the other girl, whomever she may be.

Amber in all her hobbly goodness just made me want to carry her around and give her foot massages.

Edward Furlong acquitted himself alright in the William Shatner ham overacting exposition that the script degenerated into.

The guy playing Wes was as useless and bland a cypher as I've ever seen and someone really needs to tell him to go back to the tuxedo rental place he quit to pursue his dream of acting.

That or, all together now, "Car Wash, working at the car wash, yeah."

Amber in that denim miniskirt and the pink peasant top talking in the making of doc was hysterical whhen she said "Our Barbie isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer but she gets a few good lines in."

Amber in that denim miniskirt and pink peasant top during the actual film made me use the slo-mo and pause buttons on the remote just to watch her walk or to gaze longingly at her creamy bare shoulders, her knee creases, and her long hair the color of ripe wheat.

I predict through my stal that I'll be watching it again and stopping after Barbie's rather graphic demise. The movie is all filler after that anyway, except for the final reveal.

well i know the amber sawed in half is a bit much - but she looks like she's having fun with it ... so i figured i'd include it! cheesy and schlocky are two words that describe this movie!!

I have to love how they turned a negative (Amber's broken foot) into a positive, and how even with her medical problem she soldiered on and still got the movie done on time. Ya gotta love it! :-)

Heh, I'm with you on that. I'm not at all liking the fact that she Amber’s character dies in movie…why does she have to die? But I’m still looking forward to seeing Amber on my screen again. Thanks so much for the screencaps! I’m a fan of horror films so I’m sure I’ll enjoy the ride and having Amber there is just an added bonus.

Okay, for all folks in the UK, it appears that the film is coming out on Halloween 2005 on DVD under the title "Dead & Dying". It is sitting on Play.com for anyone in the UK or Europe who wishes to order.
