i just wanted to know what you like or dislike about VW.
personally i like the whole aggresive in the leather thing and the licking of good normal willow.that was nice

There's just something about a great villain, and when that villain is an alternate version of a "good guy" the whole thing is just more fun (the opposite is true as well).

Then of course there's the whole sexy-in-black-leather-likes-to-lick thing!

What I liked about VampWillow is that she had Willow's body and her face (most of the time). That's about it. I find Willow far more attractive any time of the day.

Mmm. I liked the surprise of Vamp Willow at the time. Seeing a Willow face / bod acting in a sexy way was wonderful & unexpected for me. I really wanted to see the sexy side of Willow, and the fact that she was kinda gay made it perfect!

I was captivated because that was the first time that we actually got to see any interesting expression of Willow's sexuality {note : for me there was zero chemistry with Oz, so I don't count that).

So Vamp Willow was a quick fun dalliance since we had the real Willow there too. I love our Willow. She is it for me. And now that I've seen our Willow being all sexy with Tara ..... well, who's Vamp Willow now?

Vmapwillow was fun, in small doses. The downside was that I'm sure it was directly responsible for planting the idea of BMW in Joss' mind. And of course once Tara appeared he saw the means to achieve it...

Could someone refresh my memory ? Was VampWill staked in the end ? I remember Willow sending her back, but I can also vaguely recall someone make her go "poof".

VampTara, now there's an idea, earthlovinwiccan... With Amber's hotness factor, she could sure pull it off. Of course Will and VampTara wouldn't match because of hello ! Real Tara = soulmate. But if VampTara got a weird sensation of alternative dimension Tara being + Who knows what would happen... Just pondering...

Yes, VampWillow was staked in the end. She was pushed into a piece of wood, from a broken cage, and was staked in the back. You can see her saying a swear word as she goes to dust.

I agree with most of you: I liked Vamp Willow in small doses. It was fun because she wasn't trully evil, she was just a vampire, as opposed to her being an evil human, which I didn't like at all. Does that make sense?

I love the leather look on Aly....very sexy And the more *aggresive, i take what i want* type of Willow And plus I loved the interaction between Vamp Willow and regular Willow . Very VERY nice.

At the time I liked VampWillow in "Dopplegangland" for all the reasons mentioned, especially the juxtiposition of the two Willows. And a double dose of Aly! Always a good thing. The "kinda gay" angle I found ever so slightly insulting because they seemed to equate evilness with homosexuality, but the episode was so fun I let it slide. I definately didn't like her torture of Angel/puppy in "The Wish". They seem to be saying that torture is as innate to Willow's character as her homosexuality. Of course recent events have put such a horrific spin on these two episodes I can't even bare to think about VampWillow anymore. Gives me a heart ache.

Honestly, I really liked Vamp Willow because I thought she was hot. You know? She's sexy and evil and all that stuff.

But she's not my Willow.

So really you're talking about two entirely different entities; who are only linked by the fact that they share a face and a body. There the similarity ends for me. And I still prefer my Willow because she likes snuggles and kittens. Oh, and she can go all night with Tara.

I liked VampWillow, but the problem with the suckiness of S6 is that it wrecks everythinig else. So the problem I now have with VampWillow is that the way they degraded and tortured Willow at the end of season 6 is because people liked VampWillow and wanted to see Willow being 'evil'. And now I wish that VampWillow had never appeared, cause if she hadn't, it's possible that they wouldn't have had to kill Tara to bring on Dark Magic Willow. *sigh*

I agree with everyone else on this. Loved VampWillow: the leather, the licking but I mostly loved her for her attitude. There's something about a woman who knows what she wants and knows she can get it. Ohhhh..geting shivers already!

Yeah, you have to keep in mind that those two are different characters... Okay, so they share certain similar aspects, like the gayness... I compared them to Gabrielle and Hope (in Xena): it's a wonderful opportunity for the actress in question to show off her multiple talents: both Rene O'Connor as Alyson Hannigan succeeded magnificently. I made an analogy between EvilWill and Gab, when she was possessed with that demon in Devi... Sorta... I mean: you have to, if you want to continue to cherish your favourite characters. There's only so much in character development one can take.

VampWillow was fun and Aly had a hell of a lot of fun playing her... but that said the absolute best parts of [i:08b6bbfd00] Dopplegangland[/i:08b6bbfd00] are our Willow pretending to be VampWillow. That my friends is priceless.

Agree that Willow impersonating VWillow was brilliant - "gosh, look at those". That's probably why I liked that episode. Certainly didn't think VWillow was attractive, even in leather! Its Willow's personality that appeals to me, her enthusiasm and cute nervousness, which the vampire version of her lacked.

Here's a question. Do you think Tara would have liked the outfit? I mean when Willow was disguised as VampWillow if Tara had been at the Bronze instead of Oz( Because for [i:01395749fd] some[/i:01395749fd] reason she came to Sunnydale earlier) would Tara have 'appreciated' that look on Willow? Would VampWillow have been forced to go home still wearing that sweater?

Frankly, I don't think Tara would care... She's sooo NOT the judgmental type (unlike others <G>) and having a freaky fashion sense herself, I think as long as Willow's real personality would shine through, she'd dig Will
