Oh, you know I have been tempted before but now I think I am really buying this. I mean look at it, Tara's wearing the yummilicious outfit from Triangle and Willow is wearing the assertive hot hero outfit from Tough Love. Sigh.

Yeah, xita - I know the feeling .... I almost bought a few weeks ago but I was still undecided then - I think I'll have to go for it this time - to have all the Scoobies in house - almost irresistable - especially Willow and Tara !

I have this game but only played some hours. So I have a question - Can two women actually have a relationship in this game or is this relationship thing only for man/woman? Right now I have a Willow/Tara family but it's just friendship.

They can have a relationship just like the m/f couples.

You know what? I'll download the skins, and then have Willow and Tara tickle each other again and again and again...

And also, Tara's skin is the best!

Which Tara skin do you mean Ed? I've got two over here.. and I'm not sure I'm completely content with them. Also the Willows tend to be a bit unrealistic.

I'm thinking some downloading is in order when i go home... i don't have the game but my parents do... they'll be thrilled w/ the new additions i'm sure! Pity there isn't a 'Witch' job, coz that'd be pretty cool! All you then gotta do is create a SIM for yourself (mine moved in with Britney last month!) and the possibilites are endless... theres a place where you can get a patch to make your SIMs nekked too, but maybe you have a shred of decency to ya.... but i don't! lol!

I have a whole virtual Sunnydale :-) I have Willow/Tara (duh) Buffy/Faith, Joyce/Giles (I refuse to have her dead in my virtual world!!!) Xander/Anya (too cute) Angel/The Host, Wes/Gunn and Spike lives all alone in a freaky cript, in love with Buffy and constantly fighting with Faith. Bwa ha ha ha ha.... Oh, the power!!!

PS - Am I desperate or what...eh don't answer that...but if any UK kitties want a copy of the game I'm selling mine at http://page.auctions.yahoo.com/uk/auction/53078037 Free postage for Kittens :-)

*ROTFLMAO* At least you're honest about it. This game reminds me of the Leisure Suit Larry computer games....all that simulated sex and you could get the nekkid and bleeped out versions. Nothing left to the imagination.....ummm...well, if you had the version with Will and Tara together and that little patch.....ahem....well...I think my imagination is working after all

I've never played one of these games, but seeing how cute they look, I'm sorely tempted. Where can I get it from?

Wow, those skins are some of the best I've ever seen, I used to have a W+T but Tara's wasn't very like her, these are awesome, I'll have to dust off my CD's and start playing it again!

Ruth, the main game 'The sims' is usually about 28 to 30 but to really enjoy it you need the 'Livin' it up' expansion pack, I bought both at Dixons for a special price of 30.00, still quite a pop, but a lot cheaper than buying them seperately!

Not to take this thread on a completely wild tangent but as one of the resident gaming geeks I figure I may as well add my opinion. Which is this.

'The Sims' is better without the expansion packs.

There, I said it. *Phew.*

I shall explain why. The beauty and originality of the origanl Sims was that you took a little family and controlled every aspect of their lives. You could build four walls around a character with no door or windows and watch them die slowly, if you wanted to. Or you could make them incredibly succesful with a great family. It was up to you.

The Livin' it Up expansion pack took away from this incredibly addictive concept. My major example here is the genie in a lamp item. Yeah sure, I found it cool too for a couple of weeks. Eventually it got annoying though. Why? Because it removed control of my Sims from me. The game could randomly choose to help or hinder you and there was nothing you could do about it. Another thing which annoyed me was the cockroaches. How many times can one house become infested? Seriously.

The point I'm trying to make is that I enjoyed The Sims a lot more before I added the expansion packs.

Of course, that's not to say I didn't buy Livin' it Up and House Party the second they were released. But for a newbie I would reccommend playing the original first and if you love it enough consider Livin' it Up. House Party is probably not worth it. Gets old VERY quickly.

Also, I swear this is the last time I'll mention the fact that I'm selling my copy of the Sims. Ahem. Last time [g] Skintness breeds desperateness http://page.auctions.yahoo.com/uk/auction/53078037

yay, Sims talk.
I too have a Sunnydale. I have W/T, Wesley/Anya, Dru/Darla, Xander/Cordy, Giles/Joyce, Buffy/Faith, Jenny/Angel ( I was stuck on that one), Oz/Doyle, Riley/Kate Lockley. Spike is living alone right now.

See, I have a lot of time on my hands. And if you do get the Sims, you have to get House Party. Just last night Buffy and Faith had a party and hired a female entertainer, but she started flirting with Faith and Buffy got all jealous and now they won't stop argueing.
Maybe I should make them 'play in bed' that always seems to cheer them up.

Now I need to play some seems. See you guys in a few hours then.

Yeah, but they pee all over themselves and cry too much, it gets really annoying after a couple of days. Since I wanted to create some ghosts, I go for quick kills, much faster than the sealed tomb attempt. Build a pool, make the Sim go swimming, remove the ladder. The Sim cannot get out and will swim till he drowns. (Doesn't take very long) I have one house that I call the House of Death. At night, all the ghosts come out and try to scare the people who are still alive. The graveyard in the back has 35 graves in it.

Add me to the list of those with Sunnydale Simland. I have the whole group as well, and no I'm not going to kill any of them. That's just....wrong!!

Maybe it's fun to see how people have built there W/T homes? It's very easy to make snapsnots in The Sims and as I'm not at my own computer this holiday (sigh) I can't play the Sims and let all my W/T fantasies loose on the game.

Is there any particular version of the simms required to create W/T?

Nope, any version you can import characters into it. I have the original and I have imported Britney Spears before, I'm going to import Willow and Tara soon. Plus I already got lesbian couples in my game in a couple houses.

Just get the game called The Sims.

No, you just copy the skins in a particular folder (can't check which one right now) and then when you choose characters you can also choose for the skins Willow and Tara.

If you ever host a Kitty Pool Party, I'm afraid I'll have to pass.

Hmmm...Illuminating. Any other quick death methods? I'm thinking of geting a Riley skin. [evil laughter]

I'm afraid I don't know much about Sims murder. In real life though I studied forensic science for a year and now know how to commit the perfect unsolvable murder. The key? Cream coloured shell-suits.

Can we change our names here? I'd like to be known as 'Sick Puppy' from now on
