Results of The Golden Fangs Awards

Alright, some of you may remember a week or so ago, I told you about the 2001 Golden Fangs Awards, hosted by the Internet radio show the Succubus Club (www.geocities.com/succubusclub )- I told you about it cause Willow and Tara were nominated in different categories, and I thought you'd like to vote.
The winners are being announced right now, and just to keep you informed, I'll pass the info here, Mods willing of course - cause this might be a bit long.

For each category, there are three 'places' : it goes 3rd, 2nd and then the Big Winner. ( got me ? I'm a bit tired, so ... sorry. Clearness has kinda left the building )

Note : We're talking BtVS S5 and Angel S2 here - all mixed up, which means for most of the categories, both shows are concerned - i.e Giles and Wesley could be together in a Best Ex-Watcher Award, if there was one.

Worst Hair

2- WILLOW ( no way.)
1- Xander ( um yeah.)

1- Buffy ( early season leather pants helped , I think )

Best Villain - no number 3 but a tie in 2nd
2- Glory-Ben / Wolfram and Hart (tie)

Best Wannabe Villain - they wanna be bad but somehow it's just not bad enough

1- Spike, who also won last year. I *so* wanted Harmony to win here, but...*sigh*

Favourite Glory Minion
3- Murk/Glorg (sp ? the female minion.) (tie)

FYI, Will and Tara were way ahead almost until the end, and it seems a huge flock of B/S shippers voted at the very end, so... we were close.

Best Supporting Actor

1- AMBER BENSON ( I think we're in for a loooong Dance of Joy ! Back-to-Back Winner, two years in a row... again I say yay.)

1- James Marsters ( with 63% of the votes ; he also won last year btw.)

Best Actress
3- Michelle Trachtenberg
2- ALYSON HANNIGAN ( grumble grumble... )
1- Sarah Michelle Gellar ( she *was* good this year, I admit)

Well there it is, the winners for the 2001 Golden Fangs Awards. I don't know about you, but I say this was a pretty good night for our girls.*g*

Thanks for the results Rose. It's great to see that Willow and Tara won for Best Couple and Amber for Best Supporting Actress, but there is no way they should have come in second for Best Kiss.

The surprise had to be Doc as Best Villain, although that's who I would have voted for. To say that Doc only appeared near the end of the season he made quite the impact.

I'm actually kinda curious... Did many Kitties vote ? Cause if there wasn't that many of us, it means other people out there start to see what we've known all along....*g*

And yeah, the Succubus Gals said it was a really short advantage for the B/S kiss (as in really short) - and they were very happy W/T were best couple (they're huge Amber fans)

And yay for Doc - I did vote for him, and it means something cause I just *love* Glory. Well you know I hate her, but inthat way you hate the real good bad guys.

You know, they could have made a Best Jammies Award, that would have made another one for Amber....

Anyway, it was all a big AmberFest during the show - Bailey Chase (Commando Guy Graham) was there and he kept making kinda appreciative noises everytime she was mentioned - you know, all...'hmmmmm....Amber Benson...' like. (xita, I'm sure you can seee what I mean.*g*)
And then there was the great outburst of Kitty and Candy (the girls making the show) when they announced the Best Couple (especially Kitty since she didn't know the winners beforehand) they had that huge yell : 'Yay !! We love Lesbians !! Woo hoo! Go Willow and Tara'
Maybe that's just me, but that made me laugh a lot.

Andy has a girlfriend he mentions sometimes, but whose name just keeps escaping my mind.... anyway, they've been together for a long while, so... The roomate he talks also a lot about is, if I remember correctly, the person who introduced him to Joss ; they met, Joss loved him, wrote the Host for him and the rest, as they say, is karaoke.
