Buffy Comic No.41

I have put up all the scans in the comics section of the nether realms.

Basically the creatures are on the loose, not sure what's causing it but it sure is making everyone angry, well xander especially. Tara admits to doing a spell but not anything having to do with being jealous. Inconsistencies continue and I can't stand the way Tara is being portrayed, or Willow for that matter.

Can't wait till the next issue

Thank you. The scans look great , but the story does not, bugger it, ironically the drawings look rather good. Ah and didn't anyone ever tell Xander it is not polite to point? Hmmph, the continuity fairy will not be pleased.

Seriously wonky. Don't know if it's just me. Every time the full-size image comes up, it immediately resizes to something so small I can't read it . . .

Yeah, there's a reason I didn't bother to start a topic for this one. Everyone is so grotesquely OOC it's an effort to drag myself through the comic. ^^;;

Shanie, do you have window's XP? That happens to me as well on my computer that has XP, I have not bothered to figure out why it does that yet, but I am sure there are those who know and are willing to share. *hint*

Yeah it happens to me too in XP. Something about fitting the picture in the window I guess. Humph.

Damn, and I get irritated with fanfic that has them acting OOC, but now here's an official story. Humph. Stupid.

it's explorer 6.whatever if you have it. Or that's what happens to me if you hold your cursor on the bottom right it should become bigger then if you click. Also you can change those settings in Explorer just go to Tools, internet options, advanced then check off this setting : Enable automatic image resizing

I picked this up a few weeks ago. The only thing I can say is maybe the amulet is supposed to be making everyone act out of character. They make Tara depressed , Xander paranoid and Buffy psycotic.
On a more positive note, the name of the series after this one is "147 nights", which I suspect is relation the summer where Buffy was dead..

Not particularly feeling the need to get the comic any time soon, on the other hand. And thanks for the tip on image resizing, xita, 'cause that was getting seriously annoying . . .

That next story arc sounds interesting though, that's for sure.

I do have to agree with you. I don't like the way Xander is portrayed in the past two comics. I think the writers are trying to shift the blame away from the one who is really responsible. I hope that they don't make it so that Tara did it...but who knows. I have my own theories...which I will find out for sure about very soon...just as soon as the next comic comes out. BTW...I finally got my Tales of the Slayer.....and OMG..excellent.

Say, in shot #1 is that another lesbian couple walking arm in arm in the background behind Willow? Cool if it is!

I didn't think all the drawing was all that great - since when are Willow's hips wider than Tara's? And Tara looks like a grey goblin in the first scan!

Well, I'm a frustrated artist, so I can be critical!

I finally read this, and yes The Scoobies are out of character, but isn't that what the story is about? The creatures seem to be heightening emotions and making them act irrationally.
