New server - New URL

Postby xita » Mon Apr 08, 2002 4:09 am

Just something for you if you've noticed. I asked for a new faster server and we were moved. The URL has changed, but there is forwarding so you shouldn't have noticed except all your links look unread. At some point you may want to update your URL so you are not getting forwarded.

Let me know if you encounter any problems.

Ummm. Because I'm such a lazy assed dweeb. I've got the froggyfrog.com/kitten/ URL as my "Home" will that 'enter' take me to the right place? And just think I get to work on makeing all the threads look blue again. ;)

Thanks xita. I came here and everything was unread. I was all "What happened? What changed?" I thought I had messed up my computer somehow.

I have [i:c81553d40e] really[/i:c81553d40e] got to be more patient. Especially when the answers right up top there.

Thanks again.

Yeah, I have updated the froggyfrog jump so if you always use that you are fine. The xita.org is using the forwarding but I'll change that tonight.

Heehee. Yeah, I have the froggyfrog jump as my homepage, too. Glad to know I can keep it that way. There's only so much change I can deal with in one month. :shy

Because I am very, very silly.

I updated my favorites file.

Yes, because I'm horribly anal like that. I'm off to shuffle random bits of paper into neat piles now.

Ahem.

Ruth,

Maybe you should clean your keyboard while you are at it.

Getting the Q-tips out right now Rally, and a small bottle of prepared alcohol. Remember, when wiping, do it in broad clear strokes...it avoids smudging.

I once remove all my keys and cleaned them individually, although, to be fair, I [i:5ecd89e2c7] was[/i:5ecd89e2c7] only doing that as an excuse not to type out an essay. Well, mostly. ;)

Er, what was this topic about again?

I always used the clix.to/kitten link to get the board. Unfortunately, that doesn't work anymore. :(

The keys on keyboards come out? Wow. I use a can of compressed air. I use it and it blows... never mind.

A vacuum cleaner with a nozzle works just as well.

Oh sorry, you're talking about cleaning keyboards. I was talking about...

Never mind. ;)

Well i just dont look under the keys. That would be frightening. Laptop keyboards are too hard to try and dismantle. At least i dont spill/drool too much on the board like my best friend. Her KB is a biohazard. im thinking of investing in a plastic cover for each time i rock on over to a certain lusty hands on *cough* spoiler thread. Drool is certainly an issue there.

Hey, Ruth, if you like neatness in the paper department - I have an office you shouldn't know about ... But I just can't resist bringing it to your attention. :grin You see, I not only have piles of paper, but an even spread, not only across every available work surface, shelf, and filing cabinet, but also across the carpet, to the point that I only have a 1' square space for my chair, that I have to virtually jump from the door onto, and most of it's achieved with individual sheets of paper, some of which date back a couple of years or so ... It's been known to make people cry at the sight. Of course, I'm quite proud of it, really, and keep adding to it, in the same way some people add to their collection of garden gnomes...
