Since there aren't any more efforts to collect spoilers, [b:9d7fe23dc2] there is no need for a spoiler free thread, nor is there a need for a hope thread[/b:9d7fe23dc2]. However, I know you all have made friends in those threads and I don't want your banter to stop. This is the place to keep talking to your friends and enjoying the friendships at the kitty.

If ever there is a reason for hope, we shall reopen the thread as it stands right now, there is nothing new to talk about.

edited to add a warning: [b:f343571c60] I know some of my fellow spoilerfree kittens were trying to stay spoilerfree for longer than just until the episodes aired in the states (waiting for box sets, etc), and I just wanted to warn them before they got too far that this thread will give away the ending of season 6.[/b:f343571c60]

I was wondering what you were going to do to handle that, xita, since I figured if you were closing the spoiler forum, we wouldn't exactly need a spoilerfree thread anymore. Kinda sad though. I don't know what was going on over in the hope thread, but we had a pretty spiffy island over in the spoilerfree thread. Maybe we can bring it over here and continue our food fights and cuddlepuddles and tea drinking and ice cream eating?

As I was going to say on the island... "just before it was washed away in an ice cream flood.."

well, now I'm covered in ice cream, all flavors... La, I'm sorry, I saved a small piece of my cheesecake weapon for me to eat... I didn't think Wolfie would miss it... & it was just delish!!

Now, I'm off to the shower & then to the cuddlepuddle, if I can avoid getting bombed again... (like that would happen!?!) & just before I get to the puddle I'm gonna think about a nice glass of red wine & sit on the sand & rose petals to drink it. When I'm done I'm going to slide into the puddle & sleep the sleep of the exhausted... nice.... |I

[i:3655556612] for those who don't know the island... go read the spoiler-free thread...[/i:3655556612]

I hope that Wolfie & Wolfwife & La & Cicca get here soon... & Owl & the red head & Lurker & Hanki & everyone else, I don't want to be the only one in the cuddlepuddle!!! La, I need another of your stories!!

So, what do we do, La & island kitties?? do we reproduce the island here??? I would still like to have the cuddlepuddle & the tea shoppe & the ice cream shoppe!! & the willow trees..

La, let's baptise everyone with an ice cream [b:82c9d148db] SPLAT [/b:82c9d148db]as the arrive on the new island!! Are you ready??

yay skittles! hooray for simultaneous posting!

I'm glad the island seems to be all right. For those who aren't aquainted with the island, and don't have the patience to read a 30+ page spoilerfree thread, a little overview.

This island is the perfect tropical island with beautiful temperatures, non-stick sand, numerous trees that bear whatever fruit you might like (perfect for making tropical fruit drinks, using some of the potato alcohol left over from the HMS Spoilerfree), a beautiful lagoon with Tara- and Willow-shaped mermaids. A wonderful beach that often has snuggly kittens piled together in cuddlepuddles. Oh yeah, clothing is totally optional on the island, and you'll notice that most of the kittens already here are quite nekkid, and most likely oiled. We have dancing girls (also oiled) for your enjoyment as well. Oh, and if you look above you, you'll notice a beautiful rainbow. This rainbow rains skittles (candy, not the kitten) down upon the island at random times throughout the day (another thing, it's always daytime on the island, and oh! it never rains)

And now if you look to your left *La adopts full tour-guide mode, including walking backwards without bumping into things* you'll notice an Ice Cream Shoppe and connected Rainbow Tea House (did I get the name right?). In the Ice Cream Shoppe, you will find every possible flavor of Ben & Jerry's and Baskin Robbins and Godiva ice cream. There are many different servers of various shapes who gladly serve you a kiss with each scoop of ice cream you order (careful who you order from, we all tend to have our favorites *cough*theredheadsmine*cough*), and there are all flavors and varieties of toppings as well. If you walk into the tea house, you can seat yourself at any couch or cushy chair you'd like, and simply imagine whatever beverage or tasty goody you'd like, and it will appear in front of you. Don't miss the new squishie machine which can serve you any flavor of slurpie or icy you could possibly want.

Now, if you look to your right, you'll notice a giant dome-like structure. If you enter this building, you will find that gravity is completely missing, as this is the Zero-gravity dome. Lots of fun to be had here, from food fights (though those happen everywhere on the island, as you can see from Wolfie with his noodle hat, and Charlie covered in chocolate) to zero-gravity snowboarding.

Oh! attached to the tea house is a large shower area with many different spigots of various sizes, water pressures and pulsations. Great fun for after food fights, though due to a recent modification by wolfie, they are currently pouring cold custard instead of water.

Peppered throughout the island are some new hydrants that spout noodles (we've recently had a bout of noodle fights), rice pudding (with and without rainsins and cinnamon) and chicken soup (as some of the spoilerfree kittens have been feeling under the weather). And over there is our treehouse/fort with turrets perfect for sniping, and also some swings and a coconut shell intercom system that runs to the Ice Cream Shoppe/Tea House.

We also have a Blodwyn who is a rather curious creature and enjoys making interesting combinations of food. I'm sure he'll invite you over for tea and cookies often.

I'm sure I've missed something, and the other kittens will surely fill you in on whatever that might be.

Watch out for Wolfie, he's sneaky with the secret food ambushes. And Hanki has a giant death-ray ice cream gun. I, of course, am the most innocent of all, and never attack without provocation. *snickers as she walks away from the tour group and presses a button on the watch that is suddenly around her wrist. with a click, catapults spring up from all around the tour group of kittens and pelts them with strawberry, chocolate and vanilla ice cream*

Have fun on our island!
La

I promised the other Hope Kitties that I would be back. I'm sorry that it can't be on the Hope thread, but I have to respect the Moderator Fantastico on that.

So, where are we? Obviously not rolling in puppies. Champagne saved for another day. :mad Beyond that, however, we're pretty much where expected (not [i:d947a1997c] hoped[/i:d947a1997c], but expected): left hanging.

The good thing about being left hanging is that anything could happen. The bad thing about being left hanging is that anything could happen.

There are efforts being made to make our feelings known to ME; I have yet to look closely into them, but I will. What's important to me at this moment is that I express to ME 1)my [i:d947a1997c] gratitude[/i:d947a1997c] for Tara as a character, and for WT as a relationship, 2) my [i:d947a1997c] desire[/i:d947a1997c] that this character (as faboo played by AB), and this relationship, [b:d947a1997c] return[/b:d947a1997c] to BTVS, and 3) my [i:d947a1997c] HOPE[/i:d947a1997c] that ME understands her importance and [i:d947a1997c] will[/i:d947a1997c] return her ASAP.

I'm sure some may take a more "F-off and die" approach, and that's their right. I understand that sentiment---truly I do. It's just from where I'm at, that I'm [b:d947a1997c] still all about THE HOPE[/b:d947a1997c].

I have no reason, at this point, to believe that Tara's gone forever. I [i:d947a1997c] don't[/i:d947a1997c] believe that ME has painted itself into a corner wherein it would be next to impossible to bring her back. If the point of Tara's death (lame as it was) was to push Willow to the Edge of Darkness, then it has served its purpose. That's finished---move on. As in [i:d947a1997c] move on over to whatever "heavenly dimension" Tara is in, and bring her, body&soul, back already![/i:d947a1997c]

As this is now a general chat thread, I know that not everybody reading this will be down w/ the hope. I [i:d947a1997c] hope[/i:d947a1997c] (natch) that those Kitties who, in spite of the last 4 eps, still do have hope, will be welcome here---or at least [i:d947a1997c] somewhere on the Kitten[/i:d947a1997c]. The thing about hope---like :love WT LOVE :love ---is that it is self-generating: to have even just a [i:d947a1997c] little[/i:d947a1997c] is to have a little [b:d947a1997c] more[/b:d947a1997c]. :)

Anyone looking to share the hope---and/or any other emotion (we all have a bunch)---in an off-site capacity is welcome to flag me down at <jcf1962@iwarp.net> I remain your ever-faithful,

GG [i:d947a1997c] Cant Stop the Hope[/i:d947a1997c] Out

Blimey blamey! Nice to see another HK.

Explain the crack? That's a toughie. I thought it started w/ the diagnosis that "ME must be on crack" for killing off Our (i.e. Willow's) Tara. But then crack turned up on the Hope thread: crack being beneficial to continuing to Have Hope.

Have to admit, I'm running a little low on the crack right now. Reading the "2to/Grave" discussion thread will do that to you (not because I disagree w/ the trashing, I [u:9e1d3dd9a1]agree[/u:9e1d3dd9a1], it Sucked Big Time).

[b:9e1d3dd9a1] YET[/b:9e1d3dd9a1] I remain hopeful. I've seen other shows do "damage control" and turn it around. I think Joss [i:9e1d3dd9a1] can[/i:9e1d3dd9a1] do it, I just have to [b:9e1d3dd9a1] hope[/b:9e1d3dd9a1] he wants to.

I still have hope. However, it's only because stubborness runs in my family and I'm too bullheaded and determined not to give up. Not even the finale could bring me down (actually, the finale was too ridiculous to bring me down). Heck, not even the Mariners losing to Tampa Bay tonight could bring me down. The hopes alive, y'all!

Well, isn't this the coolest. The hope thread has been transported to a wonderful Island paradise far from ME's grasp ;) I like the idea of a chat thread. Never spent much time in the spoiler free thread cause, well... I was a total spoiler 'ho. Been cured of that, btw.

Anyway, in some ways I think I'm gonna like the spoiler forum being gone and some threads being closed/consolidated. I think we were finding ourselves a bit segregated, and maybe this'll bring us back together a bit more.

Huggz to everyone. Been a weird night for me- first time in nearly three years that a new Buffy was on and I didn't watch it.

Our little island is so wonderful that it is also totally adaptable size-wise. Did I forget to mention the mountain in the middle of it? About half-way up the mountain is a grove of gumdrop trees, by the way. We can fit as many kitties here as want to come!

I forgot to mention three important things:
1. the sand on this island is non-stick
2. it is impossible to get injured on this island, it is an injury-free zone
3. in the part of the beach where the kittens generally seem to gather for cuddlepuddles, there is a bed of rose petals to sleep on (because they're soft, refer to one of my last posts in the spoilerfree thread to read the story behind the rose petals)

[b:57cb08fb73] blameburner[/b:57cb08fb73], no reason to set up in the corner of the island. We'll find you with our catapults and ice cream launchers wherever you are! Mwahahahaha! :grin

Thank You, Xita, for letting us keep our thread.

... And look at this! it's like two-for-one thread now.... It's like the Brady Bunch.... Bringing two families of kittens together... It's quite lovely, actually.
Hello, Hope kitties, and... since we seem to have brought the island with us, welcome to the island... I shall be happy to abide your hopefulness (if not join you in it), if you can put up with all of our wacky shenanigans.

La, I will not steal your redhead, (got my own now), and you forgot the bindery!
Speaking of which... where's wolfwife? Didn't get the dear sick, now did we Wolfie?

Wolfie, your geography and spelling are quite sound as far as i can tell. Unfortunately, did not get to stay in west virginia, just drove through it. and, yes, i suppose my cornhusk skirt is not the most becoming of all skirts, but i had some truly delicious corn on the cob today...

And thanks for the Brady Bunch thing Owl. I'm a big sobbly teary mess at the moment and that made me laugh. I'm in extra need of the cuddlepuddle now... :(

[b:029b97fd96] La[/b:029b97fd96] - Okay, I'm keeping the tent, though, cuz I need someplace to store my crack. But I'm thinking this whole rose petal thing sounds like a good deal, so maybe I'll sleep there. Although the cuddlepuddle sounds, well, comfy. What is it, exactly?

[b:029b97fd96] Owl[/b:029b97fd96] - Thanks for the welcome and willingness to share. :) Yay for our new home!

[b:029b97fd96] Cicca[/b:029b97fd96] - Silliness? Who, us? *looks around to the other Hope Kitties* Um, well, yes... we do have balloons filled with crack and crack lollipops. This, of course, incites lots of crack-induced hope, usually followed by crack-induced speculation. We also have a tendancy to throw panties - oh no, wait, that's over in Pens. We sometimes wave to Mrs. Cardinal when the Cardinal posts. Oooo, and whenever things get really, really dreary, we just start talking about Nekkid Tara falling form the sky early in S7 - preferably on the beach where Willow just happens to be walking at the time, so Willow and Tara can have the lovely nekkid love scene that Amber talked about once upon a time. That makes us happy. And once, when things got kind of depressed and quiet, I sang - so don't push me.

Yay for the Island. Yay for hope. Now where's my barmaid?

okay, I guess I misspoke up above. Maybe it's only daytime whenever I'm around ... because I'm so bright and cheery? :rolleyes Forget I ever said anything about always daytime :D

So yay! New kitties to cuddlepuddle with (a cuddlepuddle is just a pile of kittens all cuddling and napping and sleeping together). There's pretty much always a cuddlepuddle going on since we all seem to be in need of cuddles at any point in time. In fact, last time I checked, Cicca, lurker and pikescoob were in the middle of a cuddlepuddle marathon.

*Looks over at the cuddlepuddle and after lifting up some arms and legs finds the three aforementioned kitties slumbering peacefully*

Yup they're still there. As for me, I am not yet ready for the cuddlepuddle.

*walks into the teahouse and a tea cup and a plate full of chocolate chip cookies appears in front of her*
Nothing better than a cup of my special green "tea" and a plate full of cookies! (Ah yes, we have a patch of special "tea" - cures all ills and makes you happy!) *relaxes back into a cushy overstuffed chair and sips her tea and nibbles a cookie* Anyone want to join me?

**looking up from the deepest depths of the cuddlepuddle... closest to the rose petals***

Hello, La & Owl & Cicca & Pixie... so we're the only ones from the island so far... the others must still be asleep in here somewhere...

Yes, Yes, Hope Kittens... Welcome to the Island, newly merged with Hopeland!!!! Please be patient with me.. I'm terrible with names.. but I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone.. & yes, be careful about flying food.. it seems to a tradition.. albeit a messy one.. to fling food about.. it's silly & fun & a great stress removing activity. Almost any food is bound to be used, except for wine.. much too precious, no matter that supplies are endless...

La gave you a wonderful tour of the island.. just a couple of other spots you might want to be aware of... Hanki has some kind of workshop under one of the palm trees.. Blameburner, you might want to see if there's another "cave" somewhere for your crack.. easier to hide a cave of crack, than a tent.. oh, & La's tea is alot like kitten catnip, but for us... very nice.. highly recommended..

There are trees on the island.. of course palm trees & two newly planted, but now fully grown willow trees.. Wolfie can sometimes be found under his Perelander trees playing his guitar & singing.. a beautiful voice & wonderful songs..

Well, I've got some math to contemplate & so I'm off to the tea house (original name Tea House of the Rainbow Moon, but now just the tea house) for some coffee & muffins.. I hope all of the Hope Kittens find that hope still exists on the island & in pens... hugs & kisses to all..

It's about time for me to hit that cuddlepuddle. I could certainly use it tonight. I've been having some crazy intense practices for Taekwondo, seeing as my black belt test is on Saturday (and good god am I friggin nervous). My yeopchagi (I'm not really sure of the words for the kicks in English! but the translation would be "side kick") sucks. Who would have thought that a roundhouse kick would be way easier than a side kick. Doesn't it sound like roundhouse should be more difficult? But I do know my forms really really well. See?

*La does a quick run through of forms 4-8, the ones to be shown at the test with nice loud gi-yaps (yells - you know, hi-ya! and all that) at the appropriate places*

Tomorrow I promise you all a nice storytime as skittles has requested, but for now, it's off to the cuddlepuddle to snuggle in on top of those rose petals and other kitties.

Night-night |I

*Wolfie walks onto the beach, smiles and nods to all the new kittens who have been transported onto our island of fun ... And choosing to overlook the fact that, after six months of not seeing a single episode or reading a single synopsis or spoiler for season six, he suddenly, and [i:43c1279fd5] inexplicably[/i:43c1279fd5] seems to know all about what's going to happen to one of the main characters ... He considers sending the offenders to the Retired Captain for a thrashing of the pants-down variety, but then drops it - hell, it just wasn't that important anyway. So, he hoiks out a loaded pocket trebuchet full of rice pudding (with raisins), and splats them instead. He then walks up to Skittles, Cicca, Pixie, Owl, and La, and gives them all huge, extra-squeezy hugs, even letting the teary Cicca wipe her nose on his epaulettes, 'cause he's that kind of kitty (sorry to hear you're a sad kitty again, poppet - if you wanna rant any time, I have a pair of friendly ears located beneath one of the Perelandran trees, [i:43c1279fd5] just a click away[/i:43c1279fd5])*

Skittles (not Owl, as originally, and misleadingly) said:

Um, Skittles, honey - surely one hides one's crack in a pair of pants ... oh, [i:43c1279fd5] that[/i:43c1279fd5] sort of crack ... I [i:43c1279fd5] see[/i:43c1279fd5] Well, whatever keeps you happy, kittens. Personally, I find strumming funky ninths on the guitar is therapy enough, most times. Occasionally, I will also resort to windmilling, and if [i:43c1279fd5] that[/i:43c1279fd5] doesn't help, then linking every pedal I possess, into a long chain of signal debauchery, and shredding like a psychopath generally fixes it ... Of course, it can be enough to drive others to crack, but at least I get to feel better, and that's the main thing, isn't it?

Isn't it?!?!!?!!?!?

That's better.

Oh, and La, have an extra squeeze, for being such a wonderful tour guide. Had to wander off for a couple of minutes, when I'd read that. Bless you. Kept having "there goes the dance of a brave little toaster" go through my head as I read. And Skittles, too. I mean, for starting it all off again. Such sweeties. You need to treasure these kittens, Hopekitties - they're all too adorable for words. I'm positive we're gonna have a spiffing time both camps together. Cuddle puddles for all ...

By the way, Owl, your bindry-buddy is fine, if a little sleepy at the moment - up to her armpits in work. But she sends many squeezes, too. She'll prolly read my post, look at me dryly, and say "silly old bear", before going back to her mouldy and musty books.

Oh, and by the way, everyone ...?

I was meaning to ask you Zooey42, old fruit, whether your nick was from the Best Book of All Time ... Yup, definitely a book to dip into, wallow in, snuggle up to, at any time of the day and night.

Well, I suggest that there is only one thing to do ...

*Wolfie heads into the tea shoppe. After a couple of minutes, there is a WHAP!!!, and another room appears on the side. Wolfie reappears, and waves happily at Zooey42*

Z, and all other kitties who are interested: Inside, we now have an extra room; an exact replica of the Glass Living room, from the story entitled ... Zooey. I have always wanted a room like that, and now there is one for all to enjoy. Best thing I can do is copy out JD's description, and you will all see why it is the most perfectly perfect space ... unless you're into feng suei, no, um, fung shooi, no, ah, fang shrimpey ... or however you spell it!

[b:81e0bb90db] Wolfie[/b:81e0bb90db], the Glass living room is wonderful. Definitely no feng shui (hell, I don't know how to spell it, either!). I love the old phonographs...bear with me, it's been awhile since the last time I read it...but aren't there 3 of them? Not to mention Zooey's huge fish tank. The rest of the details of the room are sketchy, other than the couch that Franny's sleeping on...I'll have to go back and read the description again.

I've managed to annoy most of the young people I know, because I keep giving them that book as a gift for graduations, etc. Hell, I've also annoyed older people, I guess...I have no idea how many times I've given that book as a birthday or Christmas gift, too. :) Put quite simply, it's my Bible. "There isn't anyone who's not Seymour's fat lady." Great stuff. *sigh*

Do you also like the other Glass family sagas? How about Catcher in the Rye? I'd like to see Holden meet up with Zooey sometime, myself.

Heya, [b:42535daec0] witchfan[/b:42535daec0]! I've been e-ing with the Cardinal every day, and he's fine. He's on a break right now, but will be returning once he gets done writing all his letters to everyone associated with ME. :grin

*toddles in rubbing her eyes and yawning after falling asleep and arriving late - I'm allowed to be tired, my life is just... well, silly... right now - offers a sleepy wave at her buddies*

Aaah, the magickal floating island I love that it just follows us around. Rather like an obedient puppy. Only with a beach and mountains and a waterfall. Lotta puppies have those, dont they? Hmmm Vetinary Science 101 needed methinks.

Well, Kitties, to celebrate the bonding of two different strands of Kitty Love, I think a little party is in order. Nothing out of hand. We islanders might not want to expose the HKs to our wilder sides just yet (wait till they know you a little better, Sharon;) ). Someone mentioned marshmallows so I propose a campfirey type gathering. Songs, merriment, Hanki is charge of the cocktail bar as usual (though no potato whisky for our new friends, thank you!) and much silliness. I may even get my Twister mat out and offer a little nekkid oiled Twister fun since we havent done that for a while, and come on, how better to get to know someone?! Whos in?
