As some of you know, I used to believe firmly in Tara on Top. And while I still waver back and forth between the two from time to time, I have been converted in large part. But you know- it's all about playing, having fun. Heh. Now, now. Minds in naughty places is a good thing, I'm the first to argue that, but there's more to life than smutty goodness.

Well, yanno... except where biker fic is involved. But I digress.

So my question of the day is... aside from shagging each other exhaustively, what do Willow and Tara do to pass the time? What games do they play? What hobbies do they indulge off-screen?

I think Tara is very musical; nothing else could explain her exquisite singing in OMWF. She warbles and trills about the house while doing the chores, and she probably plays piano or guitar (I suspect her mother taught her and encouraged her as a child). But she is too, TOO shy to ever play in public or as a career, even though she's easily good enough.

Willow: reads and reads and reads - when Tara can drag her away from that infernal laptop! And drag her out of bed...

Well, Dumbsaint, I still have to write my fanficstory about Willow and Tara going to a fair. Going to the zoo would be cool too, watching all the cute animals.

Well, Tara might sing or play an instrument and Willow would use her laptop, (earlier in the season) do magicks (same with Tara), and just spend quality time together, talking and stuff. All in a non-sexual manner.

I've always wanted to see Willow take on Fred,Wesley,and Giles in Trivial pursuit or Scrabble or something. Like a contest for who really is the smartest in the whedon verse.
This was an idea for scooby/fang hang olympics daily thread I had, but I couldnt think of any contests for xander or Dawn..

Tara is indeed very musical. Unbeknownst to many, she and Giles did some guitar/vocal duets at the Espresso Pump a few times. Only when everyone else was out patrolling, naturally, so Tara wouldn't die of embarassment...

Willow doesn't just surf online, she's also a closet smutfic writer on a lesbian message board... Tara is her main inspiration.

As for Tara, I see her gardening. Fresh air, sunshine, beautiful plants *shrug*

I always just picture Willow doing school work and Tara either puttering around the house or putting on a CD and singing. I'm sure that they take a lot of walks to the park and maybe small trips to the ocean. But I see them as homebodies.
