Ah, Amber. Gotta love her. I dunno about the other Kitties, but her comments this past weekend at the Toronto con have been like The Smurfs bandaids and gentle kisses to my Buffy-related wounds.

I was especially heartened (is that a word? Ruf? Help me out here) to see that she and the other cast members were as struck by the ridiculousness of how Tara was killed as many of us were. I SO love that they were singing, "Shot through the heart, and Joss is to blame, you gave Willow and Tara's love a bad name..."

But then I am a parody whore, and such is the stuff of my dreams.

At any rate, my question is: what would you guys, as Kittens, have been singing? Actual songs or parodied lyrics? Whip out that ol' creativity, kids.

Jeez Julia, well my secret is out, just about every song I hear on the radio reminds me of W/T and BtVS. That's why I make so damn many videos. Everytime I hear a new song, if anything catches my attention, I think how can I make that a video. I was telling the kitties in chat yesterday that I had never seen West Side Story and I rented it yesterday and got a chance to watch it. So all day I've been sort of singing the "America" song from that. I am bummed out though cause I can't find the lyrics to that online. What I find is not what is in the movie at all. Maybe the stage version has different lyrics.

This is a slight deviation... I started thinking about songs with lyrics that might be adaptable. I was reminded of the Rush song 'Witch Hunt'. Without changing any words, certain stanzas seem strangely relevant. (I do hope this is not too tenuous)
