Today is "defrost the frezzer day" for me, so once again, off to chip out the polor cap

Well tunguska has obsessed me for a while and nobody really knows what really happened there but I'll watch any show that tries to explain it.

Tim, I am really sorry. *kitten good vibes your way!

The daily topic, I still find it so annoying when in Family the demons have been made visible and then papa Maclay comes in and trips on ...... nothing. It is such bad editing it really annoys me. this is the shooting script but it does not play at all like that. It looks like papa is attacked by the invisible demon but they are already visible..

The beast throws Buffy off and goes for the dad -- he stumbles and falls -- Buffy sweeps its legs out from under it, landing it with its chin slamming down on the top step, just in front of dad. She gets to her feet in a blur, plants a foot at the back of its neck and CRUNCH! -- snaps it brutally.

There is a quiet moment, as everyone recovers from the action. Xander goes to check on Anya. Giles helps Dawn out from under the desk. Buffy stands before Mr. Maclay, who is still on the ground, staring at the body of the last Lei-ach demon.

As for me, I am finally on vacation!! YAY, no work for 2 months :) I am so happy! So today is errand day, I have to put oil in the car and wash it. It's just wonderful to be able to have time off. I was exhausted!

Yes, Tulipp: the Willow blood-stained shirt was a definite blooper, I noticed that straight away as well. Just goes to show how one's mind wanders off when you see things you really don't wanna see and concentrate on trivial stuff.... :(

I know of a couple but I can't really think of them right now and I'm taking a break from house work so I can't go and re-watch episodes. Which is majorly stinky. But I did read about one blooper. When Riley stakes Spike in "Into The Woods" you would think that there would have been a hole left in Spike's shirt.

But I'm with Tulipp. Each time that I see the scene at the end of Flooded when they're repairing the furniture, I start yelling at Xander (I constanly talk back to the tv, I know I'm a nerd) The coffeetable was perfectly repairable. And if they were so desprite for cash they would have just bought a piece of plywood and nailed it to the legs that they had. Wa-la perfect bachlor pad table

Finally. Validation. Thanks Ruth :)

I would have just nicked the blooper and said I noticed it first, but hey, I'm evil like that ;)

However, I now have no bloopers to mention. So I'm going away.

Yes, Yellowsub, and can we just talk for a second here about the fact that if cash is a serious problem in Season 6...well, unless Buffy has joined her sister in shoplifty ways, where the heck is the limitless supply of new outfits coming from?

And shouldn't Willow and Tara have been paying...I don't know...rent or something?

I think the only cash playing a role in season 6 was the one the writers payed for their crack.

There's one very brief moment in um Checkpoint (I believe) when the gang is sitting in Buffy's living room. Aly cracks, for a split second, then recovers. If I recall correctly it's right as Buffy asks Dawn what she's doing (Dawn is on the stairs). When the camera pulls back to Buffy you see Aly laugh then turn her head away from the camera then she turns back with her serious face on. I believe it's a blooper cause Emma looks at her while the scene is going on.
OK that was a long description for a moment that lasts less than 2 seconds but it's hard to spot.

Hey Im a newbie to this thread. Well actually this whole section of the board :D I really need to see Checkpoint now and look for that moment! I have a pretty obvious spoiler that I dont think anyone posted but probably noticed:

In "Phases" when Willow is running away from Oz-wolf, the mud on her trousers does a disappearing act. Also in the same episode, just before Willow runs into the library, Giles' glasses do a disappearing act.

Oh thought of another one. It could be "The I in Team" when Riley is going all weird after taking those drugs things. Anyway he cant stop scratching his hand and Buffy puts her scarf over his hand...then its back on her head...then back on his hand.

Ok I'm done lol

Oliver Kahn is butt ugly!!!

Ok, he is a damn good goal keeper, and he is the main reason we got so far in the World Cup, but he is just ugly and arrogant and stupid and I am sorry, but I needed to get that one out, because he is all over my TV. And he plays for Munich, bleh.

K, now please go on with the bloopers.

Russian scientists have gone to Tunguska every summer. One of the most useful things they did was map the entire 850 square mile region of tree fall. This task took them 35 years to do. This map has allowed scientists to calculate that the blast must have been four miles above the Earth with a force of 10 to 20 megatons of TNT.

In 1989 an Italian named Menotti Galli had a theory that tiny particles of the object would be stuck in the resin of the trees. He went to Tunguska in 1991 and painstakingly searched for spruces that had survived the 1908 blast. In all they found six samples in a 5-mile radius. They found that the particles in the trees had unusually high levels of elements. These elements were also smooth in texture and had a rounded shape. This meant that they had to be heated at a high temperature.

A group of American scientists found that small meteorites would burn up while large meteorites hit the ground. However, medium objects between 10 and 300 feet wide explode in midair. They used a computer program to test their different theories. The found that a stony meteorite, 200 feet wide falling at a 45-degree angle would explode at just the right height. They also found that after the explosion, only fine gravel would fall into the swamps below.

This is either a blooper or further evidence that I'm just not very bright . . . I like to think of it as Buffy's Amazing Boobies Blooper:

At the end of Welcome to the Hellmouth Buffy is lying in a coffin and she's not wearing a cross and neither of the shirts that she is wearing have any pockets. Luke, the Vessel Vampire is crouching over her, closing in for the kill. As the Harvest begins, Luke pulls away because he has been burned by the silver cross which miraculous has burst forth from Buffy's boobies and is lying on her chest. Luke leaps out of the coffin, Buffy also pops up and flips out of the coffin as well and the cross is nowhere to be seen -- she's not wearing it around her neck, still no pockets in her shirts, the cross has miraculously returned apparently to its hiding place in Buffy's cleavage.

Unlike Buffy's Boobies, I am having a relatively rare blooper free day. Yeah! The woman I have a mad crush on at work has been in a foreign land for [i:f141ec06e5] months[/i:f141ec06e5] and was not due home any time soon. :( I was sitting at my desk thinking about her, got up to go get a cup of coffee when somebody came up behind me in the hallway and gave me a huge hug. Glory be it was her! :grin My heart did a little snoopy dance!

Then one of my very best friends called to announce that, after many many years of trying, she is pregnant! Yeah!!! :bounce I'm off to celebrate with much champaigne and I hope all the kittens had as good of a Tuesday as I did!!!

Edited to add a big good luck to Julia!

I was kicking myself (not literally) earlier today because I couldn't remember any bloopers, then FX kindly provided *two* today, in [i:0d377280e0] Halloween[/i:0d377280e0].

Buffy and Willow are looking at the "Watcher Diaries" they swiped to get inside poop on Angel. Therein, they find a drawing of an 18th c. woman. "Who is she?" asks Willow, and Buffy replies "It doesn't say." The only trouble is, it [b:0d377280e0] does[/b:0d377280e0] say: "Sarah Goodspeed."

There was something else in the ep that I'm [i:0d377280e0] certain[/i:0d377280e0] must be a blooper, specifically of the film-reversing kind. When Willow is walking home, post-switcheroo, in her sexy middriff-baring number ([i:0d377280e0] Mmmm![/i:0d377280e0] :drool ), Oz sees her as he's driving his van. His British van?! Not likely, though as shown, the steering wheel's on the [i:0d377280e0] right[/i:0d377280e0].

GG [i:0d377280e0] Then there's the thing about Spike's age: "barely 200" ala "School Hard?" Or about 140-150 ala "Fool for Love?"[/i:0d377280e0] Out

I was watching What's My Line Pt 1and I noticed that the stairs in Buffy's house sort of wrap around the corner, they're uninterupted. But in Tabula Rasa When Willow comes down the stairs in her towel :drool :drool She stops on a platform. The stairs now go up, even out at a platform and make a 90 degree turn and continue to the second floor. Did Buffy destroy the stairs while slaying or something? When Buffy first started filming didn't they film on location at a house in California? Do you think that when they build the set they changed the stairs?

Does that make sense?

In What's My Line Pt 2 when Buffy is saying goodbye to Kendra before she gets into the cab, when the camera is showing Kendra's back her ponytail is resting on her shoulder. While when you see the front of her is is hanging freely behind her back. The camera angles keep changing throughout the scene. When she finally gets into the cab it is resting on her shoulder.

as for bloopers, i see one in "Entropy", when tara was talking to willow and she stepped inside the room, take note of the door behind her, a dress was hung against it... which makes no sense, because if you close that door, the dress will be hanging outside of the room... :)

Yes it does make sense, because the dress is the one that Willow wore in Once More With Feeling and it symbolizes that this is the first time Willow and Tara have really been together, as a couple, since that episode.

Is anybody else rushing off to rewatch all these episodes?

I have a couple which I think may be bloopers.

Band Candy - during the scene in the class room when Willow and Xander are playing footsies under the table. When Cordelia turns around they both leap apart. There is a big crash sound and the look on Aly's face would suggest that she just gave her leg a severe whack.

The other is in Who Are You. When Riley and Buffy are speaking on top of a hill about Maggie's death, some of the shot's have rounded corners (like old silent movies). I presume this is a product of the wide screen format but it catched my eye everytime.

Unless my eyes are playing tricks on me I noticed last night in OMWF the scene where Tara and Giles are singing together in the Magic Shop...when Tara goes over to the counter you hear her voice singing before she starts moving her mouth. It's very quick. Also in Restless in the icecream truck Tara says to Xander "we think you're really interesting" and Tara's mouth isn't moving she's just smiling. Loop work for sure.
