Also, this actually would be on topic, so even better

That's for standard.I don't remember anyone hate these two.
I could go on and on about the list but as Wiccagrrl wrote, check that site out.
The good ones, though: "When Night Is Falling," "Gia," "Fire," "But I'm a Cheerleader," and "Better Than Chocolate." I also rather liked the recent "Chutney Popcorn" and the not-so-recent BBC miniseries of "Oranges Are Not the Only Fruit." Cheyrl Dunne's mocumentary "The Watermelon Woman" was pretty cool, if strange. Guin Turner is in it. That's always good clean fun. Good clean naked fun in some parts. And also made in the last year or two, there was a movie made about a couple of different families around Thanksgiving, in one of which is a lesbian couple played by Juliana Marguiles and Kyra Sedgewick. They are SO friggin' adorable together. Seriously, their scenes together... so nice to see actresses just going for it, and not pussyfooting it around the coupleyness. Heh. I said pussyfooting. At any rate, plenty o' smoochieness. And Juliana making with the butch. Heehee. Bow chicka bow bow. I watch it from time to time when I need a lil pick-me-up. Okay, I also watch it just because Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday and I like to drool over all the food in addition to J&K. Woo! Oh, yeah. Title might help, eh? That one is called "What's Cooking?"
I haven't seen as many gay boy movies, but I did really really enjoy, oh crud, what the crap was it called? Someone help me out. The one with the two young British lads? "Get Real" was it called? Something like that. They were freaking adorable, too.

Kiss of the Spider Woman touched me deeply, as did The Crying Game and pretty much anything by Pedro Almodovar.

But let it be in the Book of Love!"

Pascale Bussières is a marvelous actress.
The 4 episodes of the French miniseries Claudine are wonderful. Marie-Hélène Breillat is spectacular. So is Mathilda May (of Lifeforce fame for anglophones) in Devenir Colette.

Also, in case you're also interested in animation movies, I would recommend the 'Shoujo Kakumei Utena' movie. It's pretty cool.

The Crying Game
I swear to God, Zahir, I am not judging you, okay? I just want to offer another way of looking at things. It seemed very clear to me that the character of Dil in The Crying Game was a transsexual and that therefore, despite the fact that she had a penis, her relationship with Fergus was actually a straight one. Not that that doesn't make the movie of interest to the LGBTQ population (or anyone else, it's an excellent film), but strictly speaking it's not about a "gay couple."

One of the most realistic "lesbian" films of all time, I believe, is Ingmar Bergman's (Sweedish film director) "Persona". It is such a moving and true tale and it has to be one of my favourite movies ever...if not favourite...most of his movies are controversial but her deals with many real topics, most important in a lot of his movies is the relationship between women, whether in lover, sister, mother/daughter. But they are brilliant and if you can stand to watch a black and whit movie with subtitles...do try to see Persona...
Oh and for the Kevin Smith lover in me...Chasing Amy...to me it is also a very true tale...

Anyway, it was criticized by parts of the lesbian community because it showed a woman in a lesbian relationship falling love with a man...I don´t think Willow fans find that to disturbing, and it´s a very funny movie (as are all Kevin Smith films).
If These Walls Could Talk Part 2 (originally on HBO I think)
The Truth About Jane (Lifetime)
Both are really good.
As for other movies, I'd recommend Gia, But I'm a Cheerleader, and Better Than Chocolate.

Willow: Maybe, maybe that way.
Tara: We looked that way. And this way, and the other way. She's not out here.
Willow: Where would you go? If you felt lost and alone? Where would you go?
Tara: To you.
