After you've seen the episode, this is the place to discuss it.

And remember, do not post any spoilers for future episodes in this thread, those belong in the spoiler thread.

Details please! Is there any dialogue in the W/T falling down/almost kissing scene?

What's with the leg grab?

Etc.....

A million thanks.

Forgive me, please. i'm still reeling from the ep. The mind is still a little fuzzy but, no, i don't think there was any dialogue. they really didn't need any. what they were thinking came through loud and clear. at least to me,.. but then i've been told i have a dirty mind.
Being new to posting and unregistered i feel i should leave full episode details to other, more able kitties. Also i'm going to have to watch it again, and again, and again, in order to slober over all the suggestive glances between Willow and Tara. However, begging could work wonders...

Just saw the episode and oh let me tell you…you’ll need some tissues to get through this one

Here are the W/T parts…

At Xander’s place, W/T and X/A are talking about Buffy being in heaven and Willow says that she can do a spell to make Buffy forget, well this pushes Tara over the edge, here’s the dialog…

W- I can fix it, I know a spell.
T- No, no more spells.
W- Then what?…this isn’t something that’s gonna fixed by a video club. I know I messed up ok, and I wanna fix it.
T- I can’t believe we are talking about this again, you know how powerful magic is, how dangerous, you could hurt someone, you could hurt yourself.
W- I know a spell that will make her forget that she was in heaven.
T- What is wrong with you?

X/A leave

T- Do you think I’m stupid, I know you used that spell on me.
W- Tara, I’m sorry.
T- Don’t, just don’t…there’s nothing you can say.
W- Tara, I didn’t mean to.
T- To what, violate my mind like that, how could you Willow, how could you after what Glory did to me?
W- Violate you?…I-I didn’t mean anything like that, I-I just wanted to us not to fight anymore…I love you.
T- If you don’t want to fight, you don’t fight…you don’t use magic to make a fight disappear.
W- But I-I just wanted to make things better, better for us.
T- But you don’t get to decide what’s better for us Will, we’re in a relationship, we are suppose to decide together.
W- Ok, I realize I-I did it wrong.
T- You did it the way you’re doing everything, when things get rough, you…you don’t even consider the option, you just do a spell, it’s not good for you Willow and it’s not what magic is for.
W- But I-I just wanted to help people.
T- Maybe that’s how it started but you’re helping yourself now, fixing things to your liking, including me.
W- Tara no
T- I don’t think this is gonna work.
W- Hey, it is, see it’s working…Tara please, I need you baby, I need you, I don’t need magic, I don’t, let me prove it to you ok, I will go a month without doing any magic, I won’t do a single spell, I swear.
T- Go a week…one week without magic.
W- Fine fine, that’s easy.
T- Go a week and then we’ll see…I don’t’ know, I just think we both need some, I don’t know, space…I can’t believe I’m saying this.
W- Are you saying you’re gonna leave me?

Tara and Dawn are downstairs waiting for Willow, she’s at the top of the stairs, in a towel , she tells them to go ahead and that she’ll catch up, so they leave, Willow then walks out of frame, we hear a sound, she walks back in, dressed. She goes to the fireplace and does the spell, but it’s not just a spell to make Buffy forget, it’s also a spell to make Tara forget…again. My poor Willow

At the Magic Shop, Willow shows up with Xander, thanking him for his jacket, it was cold out.

After the spell takes place, Willow wakes up next to Xander, when she first she him she gasps, so does he, then he says “hey” in a seductive way, she says “hey” not in a seductive way

The part where they all find out who they are is really funny, especially Giles and Spike.

Willow thinks she may be Xander’s girlfriend but Xander first thinks that she might be his brother’s girlfriend, then says she might be his.

Willow says that her name is Willow Rosenberg, Tara says that’s it’s a pretty name, so Willow asks her what she got, Tara says her name is Tara and that she’s a student at UC Sunnydale, Willow says “Hey me too, maybe we’re study buddies.”

You know when two people, let's say a guy and a girl, are walking together, the girl may have her arm around the guy's elbow, well as the gang is leaving the shop, Xander offers his elbow to Willow so she can hold on to him but as he does it, so does Willow they both looked at each other and Willow put her arms around his elbow but she had a look on her face, like this isn't right

In the sewers, Willow was climbing down the ladder and Tara was helping her out, holding her by her leg, very nice way of helping her out they also shared a few looks and a few touches.

When they’re hiding from the vamps, W/T are really close together, just looking at each other and liking what they see.

In a scene with W/D, Dawn asks her how she feels, Willow replies…

- I’m a little confused, I mean I’m all sweaty and trapped, no memory, hiding in a pipe from a vampire and I think I’m kinda of gay.

Willow pushes Tara out of the way of the vamp, the crystal falls out, Willow falls on top of Tara, they just stay there, looking at each other, the go to kiss but Xander steps on the crystal and breaks the spell, Tara gets up and Willow just sits down, Tara knows it was a spell, she looks heartbroken, Willow looks scared, she just gets up and leaves, Tara follows her, crying.

Back at the house, Tara is packing her stuff, Willow is just sitting on the floor in another room, looking so lost and crying, as Tara gets to the porch, Dawn is there, Tara goes to hug her but Dawn runs in the house, Tara just stands there, sooooo sad.

I will officially become a Hug Slut (tm) after this episode airs, just because I know all of us are going to need them!!! Just make sure you catch me before the Stoli kicks in. I'm stocking up tomorrow afternoon, in preparation.

*peers at very slow download of MPEG from Mr. Video's site, scowling* C'mon, move faster . . . or . . . well . . . maybe not.

This may sound kinda awful of me, but I'm rather eager to see Amber and Aly during that fight scene, since they're both so fantastic at conveying emotions. Yeah, I'm looking forward to it . . . in the same way I'd look forward to my own evisceration. (Well, it'd feel kinda neat for just a second . . .)

Yes, my coherence is going. And the ep hasn't even aired yet. Oh, what will become of my sanity . . . (what sanity?)

Must hold on . . .

Must . . .

Finally got the video download. The music/lyrics, Tara packing her things while glancing back toward Willow, the totally lost look on Willow's face as she sits alone in the bathroom, Dawn running away from Tara, Tara standing alone with her things, Giles on the plane gone for good. Geez, Joss...this may be the first time I cry at a Buffy ep.

April, i'm gonna need more than one hug.
Anyway, Willow lied twice. She didn't only do one spell but two. The other was to get dress.
I'm not too worry about the future of our girls. It's gonna be very hard for us during the next month, with the taraless episodes. But they will get back together. Even amnesic, they are still attracted to each other so...
I just ask myself what's gonna happen next week. Tara is in the episode, but with who. Maybe a scene with Dawn or Buffy.

Ange.

Oh my. Poor Tara. Poor Willow. Willow is in a dark place at the moment, and I don’t think she’s going to come into the light again without Tara’s help. I am glad Tara stood up to Willow, but why does she have to leave, dammit? Can’t anyone in Sunnydale have romantic trouble without leaving town?
But it’s good that Willow realised she was attracted to girls (and to Tara), even when her memory was gone. And that taking hold of Xander wasn’t quite right.
Oh, and I think the key to Willow’s behaviour is in one of the excerpts Brian posted – Willow is such a perfectionist, she doesn’t want to screw up (she’s never really failed at anything major), and she thinks magic is a way to make everything okay. She’s got to realise that life isn’t flawless.

You know, in the end this might be a good thing. Willow needs to learn some mature self-control, while Tara needs to be soemthing other than "Willow's Girlfriend."

My own guess is that the Scoobies, next time they need some magic, might opt for Tara rather than Willow (who's screwed up their lives how many times now?) as wielder of said magic.

I know I would.

Oh my.

Thanks for the synops Brian.

This is so sad. What is even sadder is that the before we get to the reunion the worst is yet to come. We will have weeks of sadness and maybe even re-runs before we get to the loving re-union.

Willow has to give up hap-hazard spell casting and misuse of her powers, But we sure could use a memory spell right about now.

Can someone wake me when we get to the making-up part???

Oh, Bloody Hell!!!!

Willow wake up and shell the addiction!!!

She is so not thinking with a full deck. Tara basically says she needs space, Willow says she will stop magic for a month, she gets a week and can't even wait 1 hour before she screws (and not the good kind we all want) with Tara's mind, and everyone elses, again.
Willow is so out of control how in the hell are we going to get her back and how are her and Tara going to get back together. I just can't handle all this trama. Haven't we suffered enough.

OH THE HORROR, THE HORROR.

At least I had some good news this morning, I was offically hired at my job. Now all my research on Buffy sites for music is offically job related and for more money.

Okay, even without their memories Willow and Tara were still drawn to each other. Though it did appear that everyone maintained some type of minor recognition or something from their real selves (Anya=Bunnies, Buffy=Slayer, etc) it may be a good sign that W/T still were pulled to each other. As though it means that no matter what happens they were truly meant to be together and even through Willow's decent Tara will be there to pull her through.

What I'm most disappointed about is because of the strict no-lez stuff on the WB we missed out on a very special moment in W/T's relationship - Their first kiss. We had a chance to revisit that tonight when they were on top of each other, but Xander screwed it up by breaking the spell at the last second. I was hoping we'd get a glimpse of the first kiss, but, sadly, it was not meant to be. Perhaps we can vote for a "flash-back" ep that shows it :-)

Okay, so this ep is still sinking in and I'm sure I'll rewatch it before I go to bed tonight, but I think they did a great job. Next week looks oooohhhhh so... I'm not sure what, but nothing good.

I wondered about Buffy letting herself get beat up and then realized, if she had to deal with everything that's happened day-by-day and it was still so painful for her that she was unable to fully function, imagine the intense and enormous amount of pain she must have been flooded with once the spell broke. Her death, her mother's death, her resurrection, all the torment with Angel and the million other things that have slowly begun to crush her... everything hitting her at once.... thank god for that slayer strength because it could have easily been enough to set anyone else over the edge.

MINOR SPOILER

BTW, when the gang are climbing down the ladder just as they are entering the the sewer, Xander and Tara are down first and are helping Dawn.... did anyone catch Dawn accidently knee Tara in the face?

I'm kind of sorry I saw this. But you know, I knew I had to. The thing that scared me most was Willow's heartfelt plea to Tara when they were at Xander's apartment. And then, oh god...and then she had herbs hidden behind books in the bookcase. My heart just dropped. I've seen that kind of thing before. And it's never good.

Please god, someone help her.
