Well I went to a Cafe called "Willow" on a Saturday and on the Sunday I went to a resturant called "Tara's" which has nice fish and chips but that's beside the point really.

Well lookie here, Willow and Tara have left sunnydale and started a little business of their own.

Actually, this was posted on the board back in november but was deleted back then by Novogate when the board moved.

It is funny, and one of the many signs they are meant to be. This one is my favourite: Tara Willow. The woman who painted this goes by the name of Willow.

You know, I realise how sad it is, but I just love stuff like this. I was riding behind a car a few weeks ago and I noticed that the registration plate was 12 MKF, I was so happy, I was grinning like an idiot all the way down the road, good job my crash helmet covers my entire face so no-one noticed, at least I hope they didn't

Look, nice fish and chips are never beside the point.

And I too love stuff like this. I'm the one who laughs at a car registration that says GAY on it...

I photograph almost every streetsign with the name Willow in it when I'm in the US - does that count ?

And I can't type - therefore the editing ...

Tara's Willow Cafe is in the San Francisco area. I may visit it next summer when I go up to Sears Point.

The empty warehouse they used when they filmed "No Place Like Home" this past season was located on Willow Street in LA.

Last Weekend I was in London in a pub called Willow's walk. Which I thought was pretty cool. The other ironic fact was the beer came in glasses marked Amber.

Spooky eh!

All you guys with the license plate fetish would love it in Perth, I swear, that place has the largest number of custom license plates with the strangest spelling. Ever.

But I've only ever seen one that said "BUFF Y**" .

That about the GAY numberplates is CRACKING ME UP! LOL! I want one!

Well, the closest I've come is seeing a cafe on Sydney's North Shore called Tara's. One day I'll go there. One day....

I'd piss myself laughing if there was a waitress called Amber. I would choke and prolly spit my drink all over her. Ok, I've got the whole thing planned and it hasn't even happened yet! WETTING! (that was for my friend Caitlin )

The latest license plates in New Jersey have two letters, then a little image of the state, then more letters and numbers and stuff...anyway I've noticed numerous plates that have WT before the little New Jersey, and I always spend a few minutes scheming about how to get one. Maybe I should just get vanity plates.

And you know, we have those special ones that say "I'm Animal Friendly." Maybe I could get some that say "I'm Lesbian Friendly"? Might get more dates that way....

Dear all,

Ahoy hoy, long time reader, first time poster, etc...

I have no idea if this is going to work properly, but...

Though I'm sure some Bay Area Kittener must have mentioned it before, I thought I'd post a link to my pictures of a very on-topic eating establishment in Northern California.
http://photos.yahoo.com/bc/cordydigschi ... os&.view=t

Anyone local to the Palo Alto/Menlo Park area of the San Francisco Peninsula so inclined to look for the cafe can find it on Willow Road in Menlo Park, leading down toward the Dumbarton Bridge.

Oh, and the handsome fella in the shot is my brother, by the way.

That is all.

I thank yew!

Edited to add...

Thanks to those who pointed out I hadn't changed the Private/Public edit thingy on my Yahoo Photos. I'm somewhat cretinous when it comes to tech-ular stuff like that.

I did suspect there would be little chance the cafe's existence would have been missed in a place like this and so it proved.

Ho hum

I still don't think my brother has forgiven me for the ear-splitting shriek I gave the first time I saw it last year or for making him drive 10 miles out of his way to take photos of a cafe sign.

Such is life.

Damn,

British Airways has return flights from London to Los Angeles for £99! (About $150) from tomorrow. (The tokenless offer starts in the Daily Mail on Satuday, apparently).

Damn!

I can afford to spend the next four weekends flying to California to stand for hours gazing in awe at a cafe sign!

Life suddenly seems very good.

Yes, many a time have I driven past "Tara's Willow Cafe" in the South Bay. BTW, the street it's on is "Willow", so hence the name.

Also, I live about three blocks from "The Willows Inn" in San Francisco. It's actually featured in the forever-unfinished FWF4 story.

Aww...I really want to visit Tara's Willow Cafe. I want a picture with me in front of it!

When I told my gf where it was she laughed and said "You want me to drive you THERE from Berkeley just to see a sign?!"
She's not a big W/T fan as you can tell. :/
Someday...someday...
