Hi there! I was just wondering if there are any other W/T fans out in the Mountain area of the US. There are a lot of us out here in Denver who have huge Buffy nights. It would cool to meet others.

Hey Nat, of course you`re not alone. I`m in the south as well. Not exactly in Brighton but not too far away.

I'm here! I'm here! Sorry!!! *puff, puff* I've been gone and then I came back but we had to wait till Uni got goin again to top up on internet time, so I've been a bit out-of-the-loopy for a while.

I'm back now, though *sigh*. Thought I was goin to die, lack of contact etc. etc. - Can't stand not being up to date with stuff. Shit! But it's okay, I'm back and we're all good, right?

So, gathering. I'm so keen to get one goin, but I can't offer a venue, as my place is
a) out of the way
b) ill-equipped technology-wise and couch-wise (must be the only house in the world without comfy chairs!); and
c) full of my parents. There are only 2 of those, but they're here nonetheless, and there's no escaping them!

So if anyone can offer a place, I can offer extensive cleaning services - i.e. if it's house-trashing that's holding you back from offering your place, I'll clean it up afterwards! I have no doubt most of the other kittens would also offer their services.

Let me know what I can do to help. I am reachable through e-mail, ICQ or mobile phone - if you want my number, gimme a yell.

Bumping up this thread to let Bay Area Kittens know we have hammered down details for an upcoming get together.

The date with be January 19. We'll be having brunch at Tara's Willow Cafe. (Just the coolest name!) Much chatting and laughing with ensue. Afterwards we'll be taking a short trip to Sunnydale (Sunnyvale) to fight monsters, demons, and vampires. Then we'll be settling ourselves down with a W/T marathon and BBQ. There may also be clubbing involved (of the dancing variety - not the 'beat you over the head with' kind) for those that are interested.

So for any Bay Area Kitties not already on the ML, or for those that are but don't check their email, and are interested please let me know.

Okay, I'm not 100% sure what you're asking here, so I'll answer you two ways.

We don't know yet. It used to be we'd have up to two weeks advance notice of a location shoot through the eidc shoot sheet. Unfortunately, that was taken down after September 11 because all the Hollywood people got concernced about terrorism. It hasn't been put back up.

That means we're dependent on a very tenuous network of fans with buddies on the inside in Hollywood. News of a location shoot is hard to come by, and when it comes we usually have less than a day's notice. I think I've had about three hours notice for the last two Buffy shoots combined. I did have a day's notice for the Angel shoot because someone I know saw the public announcement flyers going up and called me.

Which makes me wonder if maybe you're asking whether or not the Kittens will get together and go on another tour of shooting locations. I'd like to do that again, but I think it would be best to wait until late spring, when it'll be warmer and we'll have more daylight hours to work with. We don't have any definite plans at the moment.
