ASH in new Online Doctor Who Adventure (with contest!)

Anthony Stewart Head is the Special Guest Star in a new online Doctor Who audio adventure, "Planet of Blood," part of the "Death Comes To Time" series starring Sylvester McCoy and produced by the BBC. He plays a character called "St. Valentine." I haven't listened to it yet, but I plan to soon. I just need to find the time.

There's also an online contest where you can win autographed pieces of ASH's script.

Note that this is a different role from the one he's doing for the Exelcis mini-series of Big Finish Doctor Who audio adventures.

Ah well, I am getting Excelsis but it is second priority to the actual Paul McGann series that is out this year. Still, ASH will, of course, be tops.

Big Finishare are also intrested in getting james Marsters to do a story as reported in Doctor Who Magazine a few months back. :-)

A cross between my first fave show (DW) and second fave show (BtVS) ever. Wow. I am living in good times.

If your computer won't handle the audio-with-pictures option, you should be able to get the audio-only presentation instead. That's just your everyday streaming RealMedia webcast. You can't download it, though... unless you have some help from some secret little elves, that is. I wouldn't know anything about that.

Supposedly the Exelcis series has been expanded from three adventures to four, adding one with spinoff character Bernice Summerfield to the ones with the three Doctors. I think ASH is going to be in the fourth one, but Big Finish hasn't listed him in it yet. Katy Manning reprises her role as Iris Wildthyme, though.

How has McGann's "Season 28" been so far? I haven't even heard Season 27 yet...
