i agree with what everyone says about tara's characterization - i have no idea where they're coming up with some of this stuff.
also, is it just me, or is it implied that it's tara who summons those scary munchy monsters that invade the summers' house at the end? in my hasty reading of the comic a few nights ago, did i miss something that indicated it wasn't tara, even though they led us to believe it was?
if not, and they actually want us to believe that tara did it, then their characterization is even worse than i thought. the show has made it very clear that tara knows exactly when and why magic should be used, and would never use it under any other circumstances. this isn't a little, unimportant plot element that they're trifling with here.
1) the postions spilled in the Magic Box accidently did it
2) Tara accidentally did it
3) a combination of 1 and 2 did it
4) Anya did it, somehow
5) something else entirely did it
I feel better knowing I wasn't the only one who thought Tara's characterization was a little off. (Not better about what they did, but that I wasn't being TOO sensitive about it.) I'm hoping it's the spilled potions causing everyone to act weird. Would 'splain a lot. Maybe Strong Tara will appear and save everyone.

Willow: Carpe diem. You told me that once.
Buffy: 'Fish of the day'?

That's why I stick to buying the fun special ones like WBB and Fray.
I did, though, take a flip through #40 at the shop the other day. Anyone notice the panel where Buffy's on her bed reading a certain comic...?

I, for once, actually didn't like that Tara was in this comic. I don't like how she's being protrayed -- too jealous, and too ready to do magic. What's the lesson from season 6 folks??
This is kinda against everything the tv-Tara is about. I don't think I like comic-Tara. Okay ... I could never NOT like her. But it just isn't her.
And I think the pictures in questions are (in order) Dawn and then Anya.
