"Another" reference? Are we assuming that Buffy calling herself Joan in TR is one? Cuz I wasn't thinking that. Maybe if Buff starts doing drag.... Is there a theory behind this?
Also, does anyone know where I can download Xander/Tito desktop themes?

oh and btw, moonchild that was a high, high quality first spoiler post *smile*
So here are my thoughts...
I can't imagine that Tara or any other Scooby is dying this season - this whole "dying to save somebody else or the world" would be the same finale as in Season 5. I don't think Joss Whedon would do the same just with other characters.
As for all the speculations on Tara's death: Wouldn't that be a little bit too much for Willow? First Oz went away, then Buffy's mum died, then Willow's best friend Buffy and now Tara, her girlfriend, shall die? I feel like we're talking about a different series here called "Willow - how much can she take?"
I think there won't be a Scooby death and a big bad this season as we may be expecting it. IMO the bid bad will not be a character/person - it will be set more on an emotional level. Each character is battling with themself - batteling with growing up and more. Buffy is battling with her feelings for Spike and the fact that she's been torn out of heaven by her friends, Spike is battling with his feelings for Buffy and that he isn't a "normal killing vampire" anymore, Willow is battling with her attraction to the dark side, the break-up with Tara and now (after "Wrecked") staying clean from black magic, Xander is afraid of becoming a husband, Anya is still trying to be human with more or less success, Dawn is fighting her fears of being left alone, Tara...
Tara? With Giles' leaving there is only one grown up left and that's Tara. She's the one who's looking after Dawn, she's the one who's always thinking on the second option, she's the one who keeps Willow within bounds, she's the one who always warns of magic - what if something does go wrong?!
So, Tara shall die? It doesn't make sense to me (at the moment)
Love, trust, friendship and faith can die too. Is that the "big bad"? That they're loosing the "Gang-Feeling". They are all so busy with themselves - with their own problems and feelings, that they forget that they still have friends to talk with, friends who need their help, friends they can count on.
Well, just some thoughts from my side of the world...:-)
And, yes, Blixxt, those anti Xan/Tito folks always try and deny Xan's blue-collar orientation. It just makes me soooo mad.....

Well, it seems that Marc Blucas is going back to his old haunts. Blucas will reprise the role of Riley on Buffy the Vampire Slayer on February 26th episode. In addition, a setside source confirms that Eliza Dushku, who played troublemaking slayer, Faith during the 1998-99 season, was seen on the set of Buffy, and will return to the part very briefly. Though, it is not certain what the actual nature of her appearance entails. Her return was kept very hush-hush, and she will not be credited for the episode. In addition, Mercedes McNab will reprise her role as ditzy vampire Harmony towards the end of the season. Juliet Landau will also be back for one episode as Drusilla, and she may also return to Angel for a longer stay. David Boreanaz and Charisma Carpenter may crossover to Buffy for the season finale, if the WB allows them. Reportedly, this year's finale will be action-packed and Boreanaz and Carpenter's returns are necessary to the storyline.
Hmm. The reason I posted this is because it ties in with Tensai's theory on the Big Scooby Death...

I agree tyche, the Xander/Tito thing needs it's own thread (hopefully with all the posts here archived). Is there any way the moderators could do it? It would still be on topic, as it would be devoted to the *other* loving same-sex relationship on Buffy. Xander/Tito forever!"Blue collar now!" - Xander
heck, i think xander/tito needs its own *board*! and in the grand tradition of naming kitten spinoff boards after taco bell slogans, i think we should call this one Yo Quiero Tito.
what do you guys think?

Also, some spoilers from a local TV magazine
Makes me wonder the actual source of these, or if they are true. That local TV magazine has great sources if they were able to get all this info...

P.S. There is absolutely no way Willow is going to be killed off. It WILL NOT HAPPEN. John Ashcroft and Tom Daschle will make out during an interview on MSNBC first.
Ummmm...did anyone else just go to a bad mental place right there?

Betcha ten bucks Faith's appearance is in a dream sequence...unless...
Hearing that Charisma and David might do a crossover, in spite of all we've been hearing about how the networks won't allow it, gives me hope that the X&A wedding will go forward after all. I mean, if they really do it, they'll have to invite Angel and Cordelia. Maybe even Wesley. And possibly, just possibly, Faith...if she can get a furlough or something.
And I'm psyched to hear that Harmony is coming back. After the Lame Gunmen, she is my favorite comic relief villian. Go minions!
