edited to add: Beyond the City Limits will be out in video in the US sometime early next year. i know someone who knows someone who knows... lol... haven't a clue how it was distributed intl though...

It was weird, it was like watching wrecked again. So sad about the ending but as always Aly looks like she can act circles around anyone.

Also, does it seem like they cut out all the over lesbianism out of it? Or do you think there was no intent to make it clear. I seem to remember that old trailer was more explicit.

well, it looked like they cut it out and tried to make it more of an action movie.

that was probably what aly was talking about in her interview when she said the producer and the director had "creative differences".

the director was the one who made "the cream will rise" which was sophie b hawkins' bio/documentary.

April you wanted to know if the PS2 plays this, it doesn't. But you can download Powerdvd online for a 30 day trial and it seem's to play it just fine.

Xita, yes, the movie is mostly an action/crime flick and there are no sexual relations -- actual or implied -- between the Alyson Hannigan and Nastassja Kinski characters called Lexi and Misha. They show some affection and the two of them in a hammock sleeping together but that's all.

It's really not a very good movie, but the acting is good.
