Uhh, hi ! I've been reading through this forum for a few months now without really thinking I'd like to join it someday. So here I am I'm a 19 year old art student in Paris, born and raised in France but lebanese at blood, heart and soul lol. So, after being freaked by the french voices in Buffy when I was younger, I started to watch the series again in their original glorious version a few month ago, and luuuuuved it !!

I'm Bre. I'm 18 years old and currently live in Utah, but am moving away for college in a little over a month now. I have a slight obsession with being outside and all the activities that go with it. I love to do things I've never done before, and am a fan of taking my friends on random crazy adventures. I finally found my way back to the Kitten, yah! I was a member about 5 or 6 years ago but then fell off the planet for a while. I fell off the planet and landed in my 20's! Boy do they go by fast, sheesh!

Anyway, I can't wait to start exploring threads, remembering how to post and reading (maybe writing) some W/T fic again. Thank you moderators for keeping this board alive and well - I can only imagine how much work it must be.

Hi alll, I'm Crystal. I'm 25, a teacher and from Newfoundland, Canada. I've lurked around the board for about a year before I finally joined a few days ago. I'm fairly new to BtVS (watching the entire series on box set about a year and a half ago).

I was introduced to fanfiction when I was completing my degree in teaching and decided to check it out as a useful tool. When I found this board, I became immediately obsessed with all of the amazing stories here and wouldn't do anything by sleep, eat and read.

I just posted my first fic and I am happily writing away.

Hey Kittens!

I've been lurking on the board for over a year now, and have decided the time has finally come to get out there and meet some of you awesome Kittens! The sheer volume of talent on the KB is a bit overwhelming, which has added to the delay in my coming out. But the all encompassing need to connect has won out, so here I am!

I'm relatively new to the land of BTVS love, though I'm as obsessed as the best of em! I have to (reluctantly, because she loves to say I told you so when she reminds me that she tried to get me to watch the show when it was originally on) thank my sister for turning me on to the show. She was trying to get me to read Twilight *ugh*, and so I rented some vampire movies from the library to get in the mood. The pickings were mighty slim, but they had a bunch of Buffy discs. I remember vaugely hearing something about that American Pie girl being in it, and she was gay, so I thought "Self, gay girls, campy name. Could be fun." I started with season four, disc two. Beer Bad was the first episode I ever watched. Not the best ever, but dang, that Willow sure is cute! So I kept on. And On. And then, Oh No! The library had discs missing in season five. So I bought the Chosen Collection. And discovered Fan Fic. *sigh* And have spent what some might consider to be a very unhealthy amount of time reading these stories of two women who have changed my life in ways I never expected fictional characters could. And it's the authors and feedbackers and their passion that made it happen. So, thank you all!

So, a little about me: I love music, and play guitar and mandolin. Nothing fancy, it just makes me feel good. I listen to music all the time, and luckily have a job where I can do that. I also love to cook, and currently work as the production manager of a local Bagel shop/deli/bakery/catering joint. The further into management I go, the less I get to work with the food, so I'm getting kinda grumpy about that. I had a part time job last year making ice cream at another bakery, and it was awesome! But the extra hours were cutting into my W/T time, so I had to give it up. Let's see, what else could you possibly want to know about me? I love astrology and tarot, and love reading about all kinds of metaphysical/spiritual paths. Hell, I just love reading in general. I recently moved, and discovered I had 15 boxes of books.... And two boxes of clothes! heh. I love spending time with friends, which I have plenty of time to do now that I'm recently single. I'm a huge goober, and if you spend enough time near me, you will see that I'm very nearly on the insane side of quirky. No wonder I feel so connected to this place!

Ok, so this has become waaaaaay longer than I expected. I really am a super shy girl.... Really. Hmmmmm, maybe the KB can cure me of that pesky trait!

Hello. I am a little nervous at coming out here. I mean I have done this before, a while ago but I was away for a long time. Seems like really forever ago. I am hoping to finish up some unfinished business even if I don't ever write any new fic... My unfinished ones have been haunting me. And I have learned in my time away, and my more recent attempts at blogging and other fiction writing is to never start posting something you aren't finished with. And I also went away because they started to get a little "Jenny Schecter" and putting too much of myself even into the fics, which as another kitten I noticed recently stated, putting yourself out there like that can be bad for employers who google you. But I've got my pen name, been using it for a while, and now trying to develop myself as an actual writer. This place has always been the best audience and best inspiration to me. Don't know why I stayed away so long.

hiya everyone... i go by sapphoselene (in greek it means sapphire moon) i just found this site july 1, 2010 and i fell in love with it... not only do i get to read stories about one of the best if tragically short love stories i have seen but i have found many fun and helpful people here.

i am a brand new fledgling writer and am looking forward to writing and posting my first story. while on kitten chat i found someone to be a beta reader for me... this is so exciting. most of my life i have had stories racing through my brain just trying to find a way to escape. now i believe i have found a window for them to fly through.
