OMG I can't believe I found a Willow and Tara fan site..thats got recent updates!!!!!!!!!!!! *sigh* One of the best days ever!
Willow and Tara fan fiction has to simply be the best thing in the world, I mean it makes my world a million times better anyways.
I'm not sure how much info I'm supposed to disclose in an introduction here (i'm just socially awkward lol) I'll just ramble a bit then.
My Name is Katie, I first discoved what gay was when I was sitting on my grandma's couch watching an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and it was the episode "family" (i later came to realize) the scene where Tara and Willow were on the dance floor and I was like OMG two girls can be together?!?!?.....I have no clue why it never crossed my my mind until the seventh grade but it didnt I was way sheltered and relieved that I didnt have to turn into a guy to get with a girl lol. Anyways since then I have Willow and Tara to think for making me realize who I am. So yeah YAY for The Kitten Board!!

Yes, over 10 years. Before wife and children when I had more time I used to read the fanfic and the discussions every day. Now it is when I can which usually means when the boys are gone and the wife is at work. haha

Hey Kittens! I'm Deirdre, long-time lurker, first-time member! I had not thought about the KB in quite a while, until my now-15 y.o. fell in love with BTVS last summer, and I wondered if you all were still around. I was thrilled to see the W/T love is still going strong after all this time!

So, after 19 years together and on the 17th anniversary of our first wedding (the "big one"), my wife Christy and I got legally married last month here in Washington state!

We have 3 kids: Sadie is 15, Josie is 10, and CJ will be 7 next month. We also recently retired from foster parenting after 9 years and a dozen bonus kids--two of which we were fortunate to be able to adopt. Christy is an accountant, and I do medical billing from home and am a "professional" volunteer and chairperson of two boards. Hey, I grew up with brothers--I'm used to being in charge!

I discovered BTVS in the Spring of '99, when Sadie was a premature, colicky, failure-to-thrive newborn. Sitting up with her one night, I flipped on the TV and found Buffy. We'd seen the movie and thought it fun, but I was enthralled by the total awesomeness of the show. (Yes, awesomeness. What can I say? I'm from California.) After that night, we never missed an episode until the bitter end--although we almost quit after the grave error of season 6. Even now, I still think it's one of the best, most influential TV shows ever, and Willow and Tara deserve all the love and happy stories that the Kittens can write! Go Kittens!
