My names Matt and I'm a New Zealander (I cant believe how many of us are on here)

I only started watching Buffy early last year but before long I was hopelessly addicted to it and now I'm a huge fan of the series, especially Willow and Tara .
I love Joss and the work he does but I will never be able to forgive him for what happened to Tara. I started reading W/T fanfic's on fanfiction.net in an attempt to satisfy my need for a happy ending and eventually found a link to this magical place.

I think I'm going to be here a while.

*shuffles nervously* Hi Everyone!

I've been lurking around the boards for a bit (oh, about 3 years or so), and thought it was about high time to introduce myself (only polite, really). I'm from jolly old blighty (England) , with a strong interest in art and literature (though I'm a scientist by trade and inclination).

I have always loved the wonderful couple that Willow & Tara make and, after certain unfortunate events which shall not be repeated here, found myself craving more of their goodness - a craving this fantastic board has more than satisfied.

I'm hoping to someday summon sufficient courage to submit my own (no doubt somewhat substandard) scrawlings, but suspect that the sheer quality of talent here will always leave me feeling quite inadequate by comparison. In addition, I sometimes throw together sketches (my avatar is a reasonable indication of the *ahem* alleged quality of my work).

Anyway, that's more than enough about me - I also have a tendency to ramble - so I shall confine myself to saying that it is a great pleasure to be here.

Wow, your interests sound familiar. I'm a master's student in biology, but have somehow found myself working on learning to write fiction. I'm not from England, myself, but my grandmother is from Leicestershire, and have grown up hearing about that side of the pond.

Yeah, someone made the 'cuppa tea' allusion when they discovered i was from the UK.

I vigorously defended myself from that scurrilous stereotype, right after i had finished my tea.

Maybe it's where i was brought up, but no-one drank much coffee, tea was just what everyone drank.

I really fit the 'Giles' stereotype, except for the tweed.

I'll put the kettle on, you or BeMyDeputy bring the scooones!
We can invite the American Kittens over and be British at them

Azirahael, I know how hard it is to fight stereotypes. As I've said many times, not all British people drink tea - merely those with refined sensibilities! :-)

BeMyDeputy, please by all means pull up a chair and help yourself to a cuppa - no discrimination here, all Kittens are equal say I! I'd be more than happy to PM you a recipe (well, that might be putting it a bit strong, it is more general guidelines really) if you'd like.

BTW, apologies if this is too off topic but have you ever heard "Cup of Brown Joy - Elemental" (a brief Youtube search brings it up)? For some reason I've got it stuck in my head.....

My name is Sarah and I've been a fan of Willow and Tara for awhile now and I'm pretty sure I've read all these stories AT LEAST once. There are many that I keep going back to wondering if the stories have been updated and sometimes I get lucky. I have been reading stories from this site for years and I just can't seem to get enough. I guess I finally decided to go ahead and join considering this site has been a part of me for a long time.

I absolutely LOVE Willow and Tara- I have a tattoo to prove it- and I love the imaginitive ways all of you have created to keep the love between the 2 girls.
