***Sarah I miss you to death***
Chapter 6It didn't take her long to get to the blonde. There was the occasional bumping she'd get from a random person, but other than that she was fine. Her eyes hadn't left the blonde's since they first met.
People were walking all around her, some ignoring her while others would vaguely take in her presence. None of these people matter. Well, not really. All that mattered at this exact moment was this blonde. The one girl who had been in her thoughts since the moment she had met her.
"Hey." She said when she finally got within distance of the blonde. Normally she wouldn't be so far from the person she was talking, but she didn't want the girl thinking that she was crowding her.
"Hey." Tara noticed the distance the redhead had set between them.
'She probably doesn't want to be close to me. I did hurt her after all.'
"No!" Willow exclaimed a little loudly. 'You doofus.' "I mean, no. It's not that." She took a deep breath before going on, "I just wanted to give you space. Cause earlier you asked for it and I don't want it to seem like I don't wanna give you that."
Tara gave her a smile. It was one of the cute smiles the redhead was beginning to love. It was kinda crooked and off center but completely adorable in every way. Willow felt like she could just melt every time she saw it. "Thanks. So um..."
"Yeah... I..." She had absolutely no idea what to say. A quick idea came to mind. She grabbed Tara by the hand and quickly walked over to Buffy.
'What are you doing?' Tara asked completely and utterly confused.
'I don't know how to prove the rest, but what better way to start by proving slayers are real?' This made prefect sense to the Willow. Prove to Tara that Buffy wasn't a normal girl and the rest would fall in place, right? Okay maybe not, but she had no idea where to start.
'Willow, hold on.' She grabbed onto the girl's hand and slowed down.
'Yeah.' Willow hadn't really needed to be slowed down. She had instantly come to a stop when she had heard Tara's voice. "What do you mean," she asked as she led them out the hustle and bustle of what was the traffic of their high school.
"Okay, what do I mean?" She silently asked herself this question. "Okay. Okay, there's good and evil in this world. Vampires and Demons are part of that evil. Some wanna take over the world while others just want to kill. So I guess ever since there have been this mystical evils in the world there has always been the slayer. Basically she fights the evil and is there to help keep the balance between good and evil."
"But Buffy? She's so small." She pictured the blonde in her mind.
"She really strong though and quick too." Willow defended her best friend. She had actually thought that exact same thing when she first tried to imagine Buffy a slayer. "Okay I know kinda outta there but you just have to believe me."
Tara understood the pleading look of her new friend. "I do." She really did want to understand but she was stuck in the brief area of disbelief and confusion, and acceptance and clarity.

Buffy casually strolled into the library. The sight she saw amazed her. Never before had she ever seen so many books. She caught a brief glimpse of what appeared to be Giles among the hoard of books that littered the table on the bottom area of the library.
She threw herself one the table on the one small bare spot among the books. 'Where has he been keeping all these books?' "So what am I killing today?"
Giles briefly looked up from the table to regard his slayer before emerging himself once again in the largest book of the group. "I'm afraid we have another prophecy to prevent."
"Okay these I can do." Buffy said with a large smile before continuing. So what is it this time 'I wanna destroy the world' or 'I wanna take over the world' or 'I'm a badass without a cause?"
"None of the above."
"Okay. Do I have to do some warrior ass kicking? Where'd you get this information anyway?" She asked with genuine confusion. It wasn't everyday they got information on an apocalypse. This was like an early Christmas. 'Wow, that's kinda a lame thought.'
Giles quickly and softly mumbled a reply, "the council."
"The what?" She had to make sure her ears where deceiving her. The anger that flooded her at their mention was more then she had felt for even the worse bad guy. She simply hated them. She hated how they pushed them around and how they just felt they ruled the world. If she hadn't had met Giles she would have said all British people were asses just with the one meeting she had had with these people. 'God, please let him be kidding.'
"You know what I said Buffy." Giles was fully ready for her to explode with this announcement.
"Damnit Giles why didn't you just tell them to keep the bloody British asses in their own fucking country." Buffy tried to keep her anger in check but was having little luck. She tried a few deep-calming breaths Giles had taught her, but in this case they were barely helping.
"I'm sorry Buffy but there wasn't much I could do. As much as it displeases the both of us we are going to have to continue to work with them."
"Okay, okay." She took a couple deep breaths. "So how about you tell me about this prophecy before they get here so they don't have anything to hang over my head."
"Pleasantly surprised with his slayer's attitude her began. Well, for what they have sent me, and what I have read so far, I can gather this much: They are both warriors."
"Both?"
"Yes, both are fighters whose bond rests in magic. One is born in light and the other is born in darkness. One is a newcomer in life and the other was born long ago. I'm pretty sure the council is withholding more information or they wouldn't want to come here."
"Okay..." She took a moment to store this information away. "Both are fighters who either met with magic or are brought together by magic. One is born in light and the other is born in darkness. That could mean a lot of things. Like one could be a good guy, light or human, and the other could be evil, demon or whatever."
She turned to Giles to get his agreement before she went on. " One is old in age and the other is young? Or could it mean something else. But, I mean, if has to mean something else or that would just be to easy." She moved for her perch on the table and went into a seat unoccupied with books and sat down.
Giles found himself once again to have this blonde girl as his slayer. Maybe he had taught her a few things.
Buffy quickly sat up when the door opened and she saw who stood there. 'Oh my god, I got it.'

"I really don't know how I could show you. I mean there's book, hundreds of books." Tara could nearly see the light bulb light in Willow's mind. 'How could I have been so stupid?' The blonde kind of thought this was a rhetorical question so she chose not to answer.
Willow mentally slapped herself for her stupidity. "I can show you books. They have all these weird, disgusting pictures its wonderful." She briefly winced at how stupid she has just sounded. 'Wow, I'm such a nerd.'
"So how did your classes go?" Tara was clearly looking for conversation.
"They went pretty good thought I wasn't really paying attention. Though you so can't tell Xander. He would have a field day if he knew his best friend had not paid attention in class." Willow could just imagine the relentless teasing she would get from both Buffy and Xander, and maybe Cordelia also, but she didn't care what the may queen thought.
"Oh, but don't worry I'm so far ahead it won't matter I didn't miss anything."
Together the walked the short distance toward the library together talking about random stuff.
