bzengo,
well, now you've outed me!
For the record, I have been at a prolonged family reunion with my feral cat family. You have no idea how difficult it is to import that much Iams cat food to a small island. We had to enlist a small army of dolphins to carry the bags over on little tiny backpacks. The airport security limits catfood importing. See, it's those drug sniffing dogs. They hate cats, especially feral cats.
For the record, I have renounced my wealth and moved out of the castle. I now live on in a small cottage on the edge of a lovely cliff.
This talk of the gong of doom? I mock your gong of doom! My cottage is made of stone, and impervious to the gong of doom, in fact, a recent attack from the similar the "bong of doom" was thwarted by my pack of trained attack feral ground squirrels. They confiscated said bong of doom and chased off the interlopers. Sadly, 200 feral ground squirrels with the munchies led to a late night raid on the California Almond Growers warehouse. Heads up. Almond prices will go up. There are no almonds left in California.
I await word of bzengo's gong of doom. My squirrels are on probation, but they can still kick ass even while wearing their probation orange jumpsuits. Oh, and they have skills. Many skills. Those squirrels have been typing their paws to the bone sending emails to assure ME's downfall. Two down...one to go!

Now, seriously-
The time between updates has been criminal. I do know that. I have been extremely busy with tons of stuff. Some of it SO incredibly awesome I can barely keep it contained. But I will. ;-) Once this incredibly awesome thing comes to pass, I will spill all- or some- well, what I can. But for now, well, let's just say that I have been getting some inspiration for writing Tara. There are good reasons why she has so much integrity.
The next chapter has been difficult for me to write, emotionally. I am still not satisfied with it. It has involved several rewrites and I am still not satisfied. Plus, I haven't had time to work on it, so each rewrite has to wait and wait.
I will tell you, and specifically bzengo- queen of the gong of doom- I love Brianna as much as I adore Tara. Now, given my "Tara must always end up okay" rule... you can make your on conclusions.
As for Dawn and Bre... well... Bre DOES have a dangerous job. Not saying anything. Just bringing up a random point. Oh, and let's not forget Doctor Dawnie has a few issues hinted at early on.
There was a question about why I included the failed pregnancy attempt... Well, I wanted to show that even though the conception is magical, it doesn't guarantee a pregnancy, just like regular couples don't get pregnant every time they try. Plus, the conception ritual is not without risk. Every time they use it, they are tapping VERY powerful magic. That means Willow HAS been using major magic already. As for the dark magic versus goddess magic... that will be covered in some detail. I'm trying to clean up the mess ME made of magic in the last two seasons.
Okay, I have to run. Please know that all the support here means SO much, and in spite of my squirrel minion threats, I adore you all. Right now, Milestones has to take a back seat to some real life needs. I will try to steal some time from sleep and do another rewrite. Right now I am averaging about 5 hours of sleep a night. I actually get 7 on weekends so I can shave some time from that. ;-)
bzengo- if I hear that gong of doom... I will send stoned squirrels to raid your kitchen.
