Wow, Jixer. When you wind things up, you really wind'em up. So Tara was able to disperse her excess of power by saving not one, but many universes, including the Buffyverse.

Throughout this story I've enjoyed the touches of humour, such as the bureaucratic bungling of the hell gods, and the incongruity of cell phones and chain mail. Not to mention "Wendy the Werewolf Warrior." Good thing Cordy listened to her agent.

Also, you capture the characters well; even peripheral ones such as Gunn & Lorne are recognizably "themselves."

Three cheers for Jonathan standing up to Warren & getting him put away. About time the Sunnydale PD did something right. And am I correct that Willow's PowerBook spell is going to bring to justice all who use the Internet to prey on kids?

A couple of questions: how did Angel get to be alive (warm lips, beating heart), and how did Spike end up a disembodied voice? Some kind of curse, it seems. Did I miss something?

From start to finish this was a most enjoyable story. The concluding paragraph brings it to a happy closing, with its picture of domestic peace and a night free from horrors. This is what they all were fighting for from the beginning.

I finally got to catch up on your fic, I tell you workign and going to school aren't good for the fanfic reading.

You didn't disappoint, what a great ending, so upbeat. Sigh, you know the way Tara saved all those universes and made herself mortal. I loved those bits, I tell you that wrecked shipped one is so familiar to something I'd been thinking about, if I ever actually had time to write fic.

Cordy was so funny at the end, got quite a few chuckles there with her.

Great ride, as always you are the best jixer.

Hello Kittens-

I’m just sitting here and marveling at how nice it is to have Kitten feedback. I suppose I should actually write something though.

justin-Thank you for enjoying the ride. Please fill out the comment card located in the seat pocket in front of you.

I’m thinking of using the Wendy series in my other fanfic. I can just picture Charisma Carpenter turning into a sleek werewolf, one with more fur in just the right spots. :)

russ-I felt after season six just about every character needed a bit of polish and some restoration work to get them close to the originals. I’m reminded of what happened with the Ford Mustang in the seventies-first a boat, then a glorified Pinto. Jonathon seemed overdue for some spine work and I’m glad it worked for you.

Willow’s spell might travel farther than she realizes. There wasn’t a limiting condition on it. There are some sites I would just as soon see gone forever.

As for Spike, that was more a comment on a season I skipped and the general thrust of ME. I figured they made Spike a ghost two seasons too late and then are on the edge of bringing him back. My way is better, I think. A living Angel and Buffy together is kind of a salute to the very first Buffy fanfic I ever saw and my closeted romantic nature surfacing again.

Thanks for sticking with the story to the end!

xita-I love the thought of Willow and Tara enjoying the fruits of their victory. I’m kind of a not exciting lifestyle person so I have no trouble putting them into a quiet life after facing down the darkness.

That scene with the island just has to have Tara in a long dress with a bodice, a stone house and the scent of jasmine and the tang of the sea in the air. But if it’s going to be a romance novel, which one should be on the cover with the shirt mostly gone? :)

One thing I’ve wanted to see was Cordy and Tara interacting, so it’s up to us at Pens. Speaking of Pens, your island story would be a nice addition (notice the hint?). I’m sure in your copious free time…

Thank you to everyone who stopped by,

Jixer

Everytime I read your fiction I'm stunned that there are so few people who respond to this.

I think you're the most talented writer on this board - And when I say that, I mean it. I think you do an incredibly good job in writing our girls, and not just the girls, but also the Scoobies are well written. Although I don't really like action scenes, yours are so fine written that I actually liked them and could see all of it.

I'm serious - you're fantastic. :clap :applause :clap

When things fall apart, you put them back together. Not give up.

Hello Kittens-

An unexpected present of Kitten feedback makes the season just that much brighter :)

Mierke- Thank you for your kind affirmation. I love writing these stories and bringing the Scoobies along just seems natural. If W&T had found a refuge and safety I think they would reach out for their friends and try to save them too. I claim little credit for the action scenes. Reading good writers in a wide range of fiction gave me a good start and then writing my own for the Kitten has made my efforts better.

My thanks again, and I love your sig. It fits all of our efforts on Pens so well!

Hello Kittens-

Unexpected as blossoms in September, Kitten feedback fills my screen with happiness.

Ressick- Thank you for your time and your words. Making the characters work for my readers is one of the things I worry most about. Where they arrive at and the journey there sometimes gets away from me a bit, but so far I've been lucky!

Thank you again,
