“Let’s see...So, you’ve always been regular, so that’s 365 divided by 28, which is basically 13. And let’s assume that for every period, you had 7 days of PMS. That’s 7 by 13 which is 91 days of PMS a year. 91 by 10 for the first 10 years we were together is 910 plus the extra 8 months since our anniversary makes it...966 days of Tara-PMS I am owed. Which, even if we say that these drugs are...10 times more potent than PMS, then that’s still only...140 days. Which is only 14.5% of what I technically should have endured. The way I see it, I’m still getting off super lucky.”
Tara blinked a couple of times before shaking her head slightly.
“Only you would see 140 days of PMS crammed into two weeks as ‘lucky’. Or that math was good pillow talk.”
“Hey, math is sexy,” Willow protested

“Oh definitely not,” Tara agreed with a sober grin, before batting her eyelashes, “I’ve always wanted to meet a real, live superhero.”
“Well today’s you’re lucky day, ma’am,” Willow replied as she jumped onto the bed and straddled her wife.
Tara inhaled slowly as she let her eyes roam up and down the redhead’s lithe form.
“Is it true you have super-speed and... super stamina, Wonder Woman?”
“All attributes I’m blessed with,” Willow replied with mock-haughtiness before puffing her chest out some more, “I also have my own Wonder Twins, whose perk and bounce have stopped many a villain in their tracks.”

I'm back to semi-normal functioning but I'm still having a little trouble getting back into the writing. Don't worry, though, I'll get there.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Thanks for the early post. I had to read before my job interview.
J.J. is so cute.
I agree. It's alway fun to hear my nieces and nephew talk about what Santa brought them.
“Computers are the standard these days, Dad; he’s going to need to be tech-savvy.” ... So true.
I love how Tara is protecting Willow from shopping-mode Anya.
Aww, they're so sweet! It's crazy!
I loved Tara being overprotective even about shopping! So cute!

I loved the family Hanukah celebrations...
I like how JJ gets so exited from little things...
)I definately approve that Tara goes to the crazy Anya-shopping spree and not Willow...
I hope you enjoy how it turns out!![]()

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JMT!!!

I Love little JJ...adorable!

I can totally picture Willow saying this and then sticking out her tongue. No way I'd be able to keep the secret.

My kid is STILL asking, even though we have a friggin' pool and there's noteven any room in the backyard for a trampoline!
The mere mention of Latkes made me crave them! I make Martha Stewart's Latkes every New Years Day:)

OK, my neighbors and I used to go Black Friday shopping every year at 3am when the kids were little to "get the best deals." It was a very covert operation and fun until..."the incident." What happened you ask? Well, you'll have to wait for that story to rear it's head in my fic, lol.
Coloring with our child used to drive my wife and I insane! She has never, ever stayed inside the lines! Grr!!! I could so hang with Willow.
I love mama bear Tara.

Thank you very much.Sorry I've been remiss in feedback lately.

Hanukkah sounded like lots of fun. Wondering how long they're going to be able to keep Baby Rosenberg-Maclay a secret. Ira already noticed Will's baby glow, Tara's more protective than usual, and won't JJ notice the morning sickness?
Loving their domestic bliss. Neurotic Willow + Shopping Mode Anya seems like more fun than Anya and Tara. Still I know there will be plenty of laughs.
Feeling very warm right now, and I'm new to this story/'verse.

I've only had latkes once, my aunt's, very tasty.

Very cute, family oriented update. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
JJ is adorable and I loved the whole family get together.
Very cute how Tara still worries about impressing Ira over the holiday. And how she is so protective of Willow.

Lol though for Anya. I can totally picture her ramming down anyone in her path.
Hello, Wonderful Wonderful Wonderful update thanks so much for this, I adore this family the love just oozes from my screen its great.

Finally caught up! I love your stories Laragh, they make my day!
Glad I can contribute to even a little bit of a good day! And yay for catching up!Since I'm not Jewish, I can scarcely comment on whether any of the details are authentic but it sounds convincing the way you portray it as a celebration of life and love between members of a family so how could it be wrong?
She can, however, be quite naughty when role-playing with Tara but Ira doesn't want to hear that so we'll keep it silent.

She still does but now she uses Tara as her canvas using edible body paints and Tara's lines are the sort you'd want to stay inside of.

Still my favorite and I love the animated cartoon they did of it; I have a copy on video and know all of the songs from childhood. The Cat in the Hat is one of those characters who could be wqually a hero or a villian depending upon your perspective. I'm on the side of hero, myself.
There is a certain sub-class of woman who will beat the living **** out of anyone who gets in her way and keeps her from acquiring whatever toy has been designated the hot item for that year. I remember seeing footage on the evening news about fifteen years ago of women beating, kicking, biting, hair-pulling, and eye-gouging each other in Chicago for that tickle-me elmo doll.
I would rather see footage of Willow and Tara wrestling, all oiled up and sweaty like two junior weight sumo wrestlers.
Hey Laragh,
I kinda dropped off the face of the Earth on this one. I guess that's where the second last semester of a Bacherlor degree get's you.

Still absolutely loving every moment of this fic. I can't get over the sweetness of this family, and this whole world you've created really.
I loved JJ in the last update, being all Mr. Sneaky and then Willow and Tara having to deal with the Fruit Roll-up debacle. This chapter I loved him even more, must have been the Hanukkah spirit.
This was just adorable! What kid doesn't take every opportunity they get to feel smarter than their parents?
I loved my trampoline when I was a kid. I used to spend hours playing on that damn thing. In fact, if it was still at my parents house, I may well still go out there occasionally. And looking back, yes I'm surprised and extremely greatful that I had no serious accidents on it, lol.
I heart that they got JJ a laptop, even if it is only a kids one.

Just not Will and Tara's version. Heehee.

Again with the sweetnes! So cute.

I don't think I'd even want to go shopping with Anya when she's in shopping mode.
I can't wait til the girls tell eveyone about the baby.

Okay, Laragh! I’ll take your Math Orgasm and raise you two shrieks and a shout of laughter over your quote above! Rockin!![]()

“Tomorrow,” Willow replied, an errant yawn escaping her lips, “You know, shopping for the kids. We do it every year.”
“No, I know what you’re talking about,” Tara replied, frowning, “I just didn’t know it was tomorrow.”
Willow blinked a couple of times.
“Did I...did I not tell you? Oh baby, I’m sorry, I thought I told you. We decided on tomorrow because the toy store in the mall is having a 50% off one-day-only sale.”
“It’s alright,” Tara replied before shaking her head again, “But, sweetheart, I’m sorry, you can’t go.”
Willow looked puzzled.
“Why not? We don’t have plans, do we? Damn baby brain, my head’s like a sieve.”
“No, we don’t have plans,” Tara answered, “But there isn’t a snowball’s chance in hell that I’m letting my pregnant wife go out with Anya while she’s in shopping mode. She pushed two women out of the way to get that drum set for Alex last year and you got caught it the crossfire. I seem to remember you coming home with a cut lip.”
“It was an accident,” Willow protested, “The mother swung for Anya and got me instead.”
Tara looked at her wife pointedly.
“And what happens when, as she inevitably will, Anya pisses off another parent and you end up falling over or knocking your tummy against something?”
Willow glanced down at her stomach, then back up at Tara.
“I didn’t think of that.”
Tara squeezed the hand in hers.
“I’ll go shopping instead.”

YAY!!! WELCOME BACK!!!!
at Anya picking out a gift for Xander that she knows he doesn't like but she does. She even picked out her own gift and Xander wasn't even surprised. He just worried about the cost. Classic.

- SHOPPING IS HILARIOUS!!! The whistles, the battle, camping out, the maps, shopping is war, Anya at her frenzied best, the threat of evisceration!!! And Alice's references to the Twilight Zone . . perfect!!!

Loved it.
I´ve been going crazy without your amazing updates. ( me =
)Anya sighed and shook her head, throwing her hands into the air in frustration.
“Great. Now I have to work with two newbies.”
But you must agree with Alice, the shopping was pretty insane.

and I would still love it!!Ominous foreshadowing............I’m always worried I’m gonna go home and she’ll have a Mohawk or something when I leave them alone for the day.”
And I bet adorable too!!but Willow, her red hair lifted completely off her head and gelled to a continuous line of spikes, was quite possibly the funniest thing Tara had ever set eyes on.

Hahahaha...perfect!“You weren’t joking about Anya being a demon were you?”
DibsYAY!!! WELCOME BACK!!!!
Loved this update. Anya is hilarious.
I loved the whistle scene. The sad part is how realistic it was. With a 50% sale it's almost like the store wants it to happen.
Loved how Willow's new wallet seemed to be made for her.

:rofl at Anya picking out a gift for Xander that she knows he doesn't like but she does. She even picked out her own gift and Xander wasn't even surprised. He just worried about the cost. Classic.
The hair-dos sound hilarious.

Yay! I missed your writing... a whole bunch.
The entire thing was simply awesome, but I'd have to say the scene with the Cosmo was probably my favorite.

Good to see you back, Laragh.

Yay yay yay. I laughed my way through the whole update, and almost choked a few times. I loved the.. well I loved all the parts but aspecially the "who has the best sex life" scene
Great to have you and your awesome writing-skills back

Welcome back! *Big Hugs*
I loved the crazy shopping with Anya...

I'm glad that Tara calmly dealed with the laptop stealing mom...

I absolutely love the present Tara got to Willow...
Those mohawk-dos are pretty damn hilarious...

Everyone spot on as always (I think I need to go back and get soem background on this 'verse!)

Truly scary shopping moments; I've never *done* that but I *have* been there from the retail side of the counter, brr.(Sigh, I haven't had a decent turkey club in forever.)

If what we've seen on the show applies here, good thing anyway that Willow's not doing the wrapping :-).

My ex once mentioned faking her orgasms (not sure if we were arguing and she said it to score points or if we were having an honest discussion and she said it in the spirit of sharing (with us, those 2 things were hard to distinguish:-(,) and I blew it off by saying "Every woman does that." But if any women in any possible universe don't, I can see it would be Willow and Tara!
And yes, leave the little kids and the "big kids" together and you never know what you'll come back to, whether it's hair-don'ts or something else. A good, solid way to end the chapter.

You're back!!! Glompage and huggles. Glad to see you're feeling/getting better.

This update was amazing, I actually laughed out loud. Now my mom thinks I'm crazy.Loved it.

Of course the two days when I have no internet is when you get back! So much fun! I'm glad Tara survived shopping! Very cute update!!!

FINALLY!I´ve been going crazy without your amazing updates. ( me =
)

Nice comeback! Anya is hilarious!

LOL.But you must agree with Alice, the shopping was pretty insane.

Great to see you back!

I'm glad Tara did decide to go shopping instead of letting Willow go; Anya was a little intense.

I'm glad to see you're back!

Great update! I can't say I'm surprised about Anya's shopping techniques, but wow, talk about extreme shopping, lol. I could never go shopping with her because I'd probably end up being as crazy as Anya...
It’s a whole lifestyle, not just a day
I'm so glad Willow's pregnant, I can't wait to see what you have in store for us next...

Lovely update, but then again you could have posted just thisand I would still love it!!
“I’m always worried I’m gonna go home and she’ll have a Mohawk or something when I leave them alone for the day.” ... Ominous foreshadowing............

The whole shopping experience with Anya was very entertaining and highly accurate...especially since I've lived it. My neighbors and I used to do the 4am thing every Black Friday when the kids were little and we could get great deals. I have since retired from going at 4am because of "The Incident," which, as I said before will appear in an upcoming chapter of my fic...shameless plug, lol.

“but Willow, her red hair lifted completely off her head and gelled to a continuous line of spikes, was quite possibly the funniest thing Tara had ever set eyes on.” ... And I bet adorable too!!
“You weren’t joking about Anya being a demon were you?” ... Hahahaha...perfect!

So glad you are back! Wednesdays without you were just...unpleasant.

Laragh,
Nice to read your words again but this update is a little too girly for me to relate to so I'll just say welcome back, we missed you.

That's about all I'm able thingk right now.“Let’s just hope I can get my arms around you, Booberella.”
Great ending
“Let’s just hope I can get my arms around you, Booberella.”
