~Part 42~~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Hadley swung her feet back and forth sitting on the back porch swing. The cool air flushed her cheeks as she sang by herself. Her parents were inside, cooking up dinner and getting back into their old routine of cooking, then kissing, cooking then kissing. Hadley giggled happily to herself.
“There you are.” Buffy smiled and sat down next to the young girl. “I was beginning to think I lost my little Maclay.”
Hadley giggled and scooted closer to the slayer. “Hi Buffy.” She smiled.
“Hey.” Buffy looked out into the back yard. “For someone who is so happy that her mommy is back home, why aren’t you inside helping them with dinner?”
“They need their smoochie time.” Hadley simply shrugged her shoulders. “Buffy?” She tilted her head slightly.
“What is it?” Buffy smiled softly.
“Is it…” Hadley hesitated for a moment. Taking a deep breath she climbed onto the slayers lap and looked at her. “Is it okay if I, maybe, call you…Aunt Buffy?” Her eyes wide and hopeful.
A surprise shock ran through the blonde’s body as the little girl blinked and looked at her. “Me? Aunt Buffy?” She whispered, grinning from ear to ear. Watching Hadley nod her head, Buffy kissed the small blonde’s forehead. “I would love to be your Aunt Buffy.”
“Really?” Hadley asked all excited.
“Yes, really, really.” Buffy smiled. She knew Hadley was trying to piece everyone together as a family. The whole Scoobie gang.
“And when I’m older, can you and Aunt Faith teach me cool moves?” Hadley bounced in Buffy’s lap.
Buffy laughed and squeezed Hadley softly. “We’ll have to ask your parents.”
“Okay!” Hadley jumped off Buffy’s lap.
“Hey! Not now.” Buffy chuckled and followed the small girl inside the house.

“Hazel! Hold still.” Faith said between her teeth, as she held a safety pin between pin. She was helping Tori hem her dress so it wouldn’t drag that much on the floor.
“Sorry, but my balance is off.” Tori grinned and looked at Faith through the mirror. “And yes, you can say some remark about feeling sorry for Dawn…”
Faith laughed. “You know me a little to well. Kind of freaky.”
“So how do you think Willow will propose?” Tori asked, smoothing out the material on her stomach.
“Romantically.” Faith shrugged and cut the piece of thread. “You know Red, all with the romance, candies and flowers.”
“Yeah.” Tori smiled. “What about you? How would you propose?”
Faith kneeled back and looked at Tori, seriously. “You’re fucking kidding me right?”
Tori rolled her eyes. “Well…”
“Tori, Buffy and I are not getting married. At least not anytime soon.”
“Ah ha! So you admit it, you would marry her…” The young Maclay sister beamed.
“I think we have enough to worry about before marital issues.” Faith sighed. “But if I were to ask Buffy to marry me…and that’s a big ‘if’ by the way, it would be here in Sunnydale, and as long as she’s in my arms, it wouldn’t matter how or where.”
“Aww, ain’t that sweet.” Tori chuckled. “I hope Willow does it soon.”
“Why?”
“Because I’m just like Hadley, eager to get the family started.” Tori smiled softly and looked at Faith’s softening features. “Tara and Hadley deserve a good life and we all know Willow can provide that and more.”
“Right, with extra estasy on the side.” Faith smirked, slightly mocking Hadley, and went back to her hemming.
“Can I come in?” Dawn asked, her hands over her eyes.
Tori smiled and reached out, pulling Dawn into the bathroom. “Of course.” She smiled.
“Can I…look?” Dawn’s soft grin made Tori melt.
Faith shook her head, smiling to herself. “She isn’t naked, though…sorry to disappoint.”
“Faith!” Tori looked down at the dark hair slayer. “Okay, so I’m not naked…why would Faith be in here with me if I were naked?”
“So…can I?” Dawn stressed again, reaching out and sliding her fingers along the neckline of her girlfriends dress.
“You may.” Tori swallowed. “So um, what’s going on out there?”
Dawn sat on the side of the tub and looked her girlfriend up and down. “Not much, Tara and Willow are making with the kisses in the kitchen, while Buffy and Hadley finish the salad.”
“Xander and Anya coming over?” Faith asked, standing up and brushing off her leather pants.
“Maybe later, Xander planned a romantic evening for Anya.” Dawn smirked. “You never know where that’ll land Xander…”
“Flat on his back on his bed, that’s where.” Faith muttered and threw the safety pins, needles and thread into the small drawer under the sink. “Okay, you’re good to go…now change before you ruin the dress.”
“Yes mother.” Tori snickered and hugged Faith. “Thank you.”
“No problem.” Faith shrugged and stepped out of the bathroom.
“You look so gorgeous in that.” Dawn whispered, looking into Tori’s eyes.
“You look gorgeous always.” Tori grabbed Dawn by the sleeve and kissed her gently. “Faith’s right, I should get out of this before it gets all wrinkled.”
“Yea, wouldn’t want that.” Dawn smiled and let go of Tori. “I’m going to see if there’s anything I can do to help move the supper along faster, I’m starved.”
Tori smiled and watched Dawn exit. “How would I propose…”

“Willow, stop it.” Tara giggled as the red head’s hands wandered up and down thighs. She could feel her skirt being tugged up slowly. “Everyone is just in the kitchen.”
Willow chuckled. “I know…but isn’t this fun?” She ran her nails along the soft skin of Tara’s waist.
The couple was in the dining room, picking out plates and glasses from the china cabinet. Tara was reaching up for a nice candle holder when she felt her girlfriend softly start to kiss the nape of her neck.
“Tara?” Willow turned her girl around slowly so they were facing each other. “I invited Jessica over for our Scoobie Christmas dinner…”
“That’s great!” Tara smiled widely.
“Really?” Willow knew that Tara wouldn’t mind, but she didn’t expect that much excitement.
“Yes, really. Honey,” Tara placed her hands on Willow’s shoulder and kissed her softly before pulling back. “I know you and Jessica have a great friendship. Why else would she come to your rescue in Australia?…I want to get to know her more. She really seems like a great person.”
“She is.” Willow smiled softly. “I love you.” She sighed.
“I love you too.” Tara leaned in and kissed Willow again.
“So…where were we?” Willow mischievously smirked and cupped Tara’s firm cheeks. “Ah yes, fondling my lover.” She whispered, kissing Tara up her throat, eliciting small quiet moans, her slender hands brushing up her sides, her thumb grazing the underneath the blondes breasts.
“You two coming?” Faith peeked her head through the threshold of the kitchen door. “Apparently you’re getting there…” She smirked.
Willow and Tara broke apart and smiled, blushing slightly. “Come on love, let’s go and have actual food and celebrate your return.” Tara grinned, brushing her hair behind her ears.
“But we’ve already that…all night…” Willow coyly smiled, following Tara into the kitchen where everyone was already seated.
“Real food Rosenberg, one that is actually on the food group list.” Tara smiled and set down the plates.
“Yea mommy, candy is not a food group, neither is pop, or chips…” Hadley went on listing things she knew was not on the food group.
Tara nodded, agreeing with her daughter, she looked over at her lover and winked. She smiled when Willow flushed and sank lower in her seat. Willow was just too cute and sexy sometimes.

“Good evening?” Tara asked Willow as they sat out on the porch, watching the stars start to come out brightly.
“One of the best.” Willow whispered, pulling the blanket over both of them, snuggling tight against each other. “Next time I leave, you and the girls are coming with me.” Willow said a minute later.
Tara smiled and kissed the top of Willow’s head. “Deal.”
“Unless of course you’re like, doing a great job with your work and you have finals, and Tori has finals or a special date with Dawn, and Hadley joins a theatre group and has a big show night…”
“Willow, stop.” Tara chuckled. “We’re family, we’ll figure this out together, and when the time comes. Right now, we don’t have to worry about that, you’re here now, on your holiday vacation, and I do have finals in about two weeks, but it gives us plenty of time.”
“You have finals in two weeks?” Willow looked at Tara with wide eyes. “And you’re not studying??”
Tara laughed at the look on Willow’s face. “Sweetie, calm down. This won’t effect my final grade.” She soothed. “I have been on top of all my classes and I know I can pass these with flying colours.”
“Like…a rainbow?” Willow’s expressions soften as she nuzzled her nose in the crook of her girlfriends neck.
“Like a rainbow, right.” Tara leaned back and began to sway the porch swing softly. “How about tonight, you and me have a nice relaxing evening together. We can watch a movie, cuddle up in front of the TV, have munchies, soft whispers…”
“I would love too.” Willow whispered, enjoying the feel of being in Tara’s arms on such a beautiful night. Her eyes closing softly.
“Good, it’s settled.” Tara whispered back, running her fingers through silky red strands. “I love you Willow Lynn Rosenberg…” Tara heard the soft sighs come from her girlfriend’s lips. A soft snoring. Smiling, she looked up at the stars and began to hum a quiet tune, setting the swing at a nice path, soothing them both into relaxation.
