This is really tough, but I went for 'Willow coming out to her parents', just cos that would have been hilarious with all the Willow-babble!

I voted for Willow coming out, because their first kiss would be much hotter than they could have got away with on the show -so we would have just had a fade-to-black anyway.

And it might have been more useful (to me at least) to see how Willow and her parents dealt with it, as it might explain her character a bit more. It is a subject I very rarely see in fanfic, and I have no imagination, so I can't really fill in the blanks myself!

I voted for Tara meeting Willow's parents because I'd have loved to see how this was handled... I mean, we've seen Willow and Tara kissing, and we've *ahem* almost seen them being intimate (and I'm sure we've imagined just about every scenario possible on this one...), and while I'd love to be a fly on the wall when Willow came out to her family, I'd really want to be there when they meet Tara. Jewish families can be really, really, obsessive about who thier children's intended mates are and from what we've seen of WIllow's mom, she fits the bill.

Of course, who wouldn't fall in love with Tara in like about 10 seconds?

Seeing Willow coming out to her parents or Tara meeting Willows' parents would have been probably quite funny thinking back of Willow's parents.

Allowing my view to conform with the majority of voters - definitely a WT first kiss.

I think Joss's use of metaphorical imagery to portray their expanding relationship only served to highlight conservatism instead of tweaking it. Showing a first kiss for two girls who are truly in love could have offset those scales...and maybe, just maybe, we would have reacted less bitterly to Tara's death?

Having your girlfriend over for dinner for the first time is INSANE! my dad even took us out for dinner, really nice... but was SO embarrassing XD

First Time... um... should be amazing watch this scene... But, in a show like 'Buffy', we just saw our girls on action (not like buffy and her bf or xander/anya) in 'Seeing Red'.. We just assumed that they already did it in NMR... thanks really sucks...

W/T first kiss is not on my need-to-see list. And certainly not their 'first time'. I sometimes feel alone in this world... I seem to be the only one out here that isn't fond of smut. I tend to like leaving the private private. PDA- no problem.
I think that Tara meeting Willow's parents would be agonizing for all the same reasons that anyone meeting the potential in-laws is. Especially since Willow's parents (at least her mom) is an analytical type who is quite concerned with her daughter's future (if not in a very personal way- academics, after all, are the key to a brighter future!). Tara would be scrutinized to death, which is something she doesn't put up with very well from anyone, let alone potential family. Add in Tara's own history with her own family... it's likely to be an intense scene.
